Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to replace the Uni-Servo Wheel Cylinder for 10", 12", and 13" Titan Brake Assemblies for the right-hand side, part number T0977600. This also comes in a left-handed side, part number T0977700. This is what you're going to get in your kit. It's a single-plunger design, zinc coated to resist corrosion. It's going to fit your 10, 12, and 13" brake assemblies. This is great, helps keep you from having to replace your whole brake system. We've got our brake assembly off our trailer.
We're going to go ahead and show you how to replace it. First thing we want to do is we want to remove this spring right here. I'm going to use a spring removal tool. You should be able to find one at any auto parts store, just to make it a little easier. The reason we have to remove this spring is this pin right here goes inside the cylinder, so we have to remove the spring to get the brake loose. Now, what we're going to do, we're going to turn it over and we're going to take out these two bolts right here.
Once you have your bolts removed, go and pull out your assembly. Now, we're going to take our pin and insert it into our new cylinder. Once you have your pin in place, set it on your brake assembly. We're just going to do everything in reverse. We're going to flip it over, insert your bolts. For this, I'm using a 13mm socket.
So, now we'll replace our spring. Once you got everything back together, you're ready to go, and then you just repeat the same process for the left side. That'll do it for the Uni-Servo Wheel Cylinder Titan Brake Assembly, part number T0977600.
