Saltwater and moisture can ruin ordinary brakes fast. The DeeMaxx 13" hub-and-rotor assemblies use a corrosion-resistant Maxx coat finish on the rotors, calipers, and brackets that lasts over 1,000 hours in salt spray testing. Drainage holes in the hat section let water escape easily, reducing trapped moisture that can cause rust. This durable coating keeps the parts looking clean and performing reliably, even with repeated exposure to brackish or saltwater.

Towing with confidence means having consistent braking power every time you slow down. These disc brakes use ceramic brake pads and a stainless steel piston to deliver strong, responsive braking without the uneven grab of worn drum brakes. The design gives smooth, controlled stops and shorter braking distances—no pushing or pulling from the trailer when traffic suddenly slows.

Heat buildup leads to brake fade and premature wear. DeeMaxx solves that with a vented, 1-piece hub-and-rotor assembly that dissipates heat quickly and resists uneven wear. The integrated hub prevents debris or water from getting between surfaces, extending rotor life and keeping performance consistent mile after mile.
This complete kit includes everything needed to add brakes to one axle—two Maxx coat hub-rotor assemblies, calipers, brackets, bearings, races, seals, oil caps, wheel bolts, and lug nuts. The calipers feature laser-etched bleeding instructions so you always have setup guidance right on the part. With its straightforward “bolt-on” design and minimal maintenance requirements, it’s easy to install and even easier to keep in top shape.

Designed for #42 ALKO spindles with an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern and 9/16" wheel bolts, this kit supports up to 8,000 lbs per axle. It’s engineered for lasting performance with automotive-grade construction and backed by a 7-year warranty—built to handle demanding loads and long-term use without compromise.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the DeeMaxx 13 inch threaded hub and rotor assembly kit with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern, 9/16 inch studs for 8,000 pound axles, and they have a Maxx coated finish on them. Now this kit will let you upgrade your trailer from drum to disc brakes for superior performance. The threaded hubs on these we mentioned are mostly used on oil bath axles, and this kit will include everything I have laid out here on the table. We'll start with all the pieces, but you'll have the hub and rotors here. It's two Maxx coded cast iron, threaded hub and rotor assemblies, and they have the bearing races pre-installed in them.
Also comes with two inner bearings, two outer bearings, the two oil seals, the two threaded oil caps that'll thread into the hub right there. And then you also notice the lug nuts, which are included at 16 of the 9/16 by 18 size lunge nuts. Now the calipers right here, they are a Maxx coated caliper. They come with the brake pads and the installation bolts. And right over here we have the Maxx coated caliper mounting brackets.
Now this kit will require a hydraulic brake actuator that's rated at 1,500 PSI or above and also brake lines to activate your brakes. Those items we do sell separately. Now the hub and rotor itself, it's a one piece hub and rotor assembly. This will reduce the chance of uneven rotor wear. The vented design.
Right here, you can see the vent all the way around and just turn it a little more for you. There you go. You can see the vent goes all the way around. This vented design helps dissipate heat faster to prevent premature brake pad wear. And if you look on the hat section, you see the holes all the way around.
These are drainage holes that allow the water to drain easily further minimizing any corrosion. Now this kit is great for towing and launching your boat in any fresh or brackish type water. We mentioned the coating. It's a corrosion resistant Maxx coat finish on the hub and rotors on the calipers and on the caliper of brackets, they have a salt spray rating of over 1,000 hours. Now this will offer dramatically shorter stopping distances and smooth control braking. Now I did want to talk about the caliper right here. It comes with the ceramic brake pads. If I flip it up, you'll be able to see the brake pads there. This will increase the stopping power and it uses a two and a quarter inch diameter stainless steel piston that'll provide fast responsive braking. Does require minimal maintenance, saving you on time and money. And also what's really nice if you look on the caliper right out here, it uses a laser etched, which on the outside there's laser etched instructions that'll take the guesswork out of installing and even bleeding the brakes. Now this kit is designed to fit the Alko 8,000 pound axles with the number 42 spindle. The wheel size that'll fit on these is 16 inches and larger. We mentioned the bolt pattern of eight on six and a half inches, wheel bolt diameter of 9/16 of an inch. The rotor itself 13 inch diameter. And we also want to show you the brake calipers or the caliper mounting brackets that hold the brake calipers. You notice it has four holes in it, so it is designed to bolt to a four bolt brake flange configuration on your axle. But that should do it for our look at the DeeMaxx 13 inch threaded hub and rotor assembly kit with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern, the 9/16 inch studs for 8,000 pound axles.
