If your brakes are dragging or losing effectiveness, this DeeMaxx 13" disc brake kit brings a big upgrade in braking performance. The 1-piece hub-and-rotor design reduces uneven rotor wear and keeps water and debris from getting between parts. Ceramic brake pads and a stainless steel piston deliver fast, responsive braking with shorter stopping distances and smooth, controlled feel. The kit is rated for 8,000-lb axles and includes all assemblies needed to replace brakes on one axle.

Saltwater, slush, or road salt can eat through standard brake components fast. These DeeMaxx brakes use the Maxx coat finish on hub-rotors and brackets—tested to over 1,000 hours of salt spray—and stainless steel calipers that resist rust completely. Drainage holes in the hat section help water escape quickly to minimize corrosion inside the rotor. The result is long-lasting protection that keeps your brakes looking good and performing reliably even after repeated exposure to moisture.

Hauling heavy loads or navigating steep terrain can push brakes to their limits. The vented design of these rotors dissipates heat fast to reduce brake fade and premature pad wear. Combined with drainage holes that improve ventilation, this setup helps the system run cooler and maintain consistent braking under demanding conditions.
This kit comes pre-assembled and ready to bolt on with included bearings, races, oil seals, oil caps, wheel bolts, and stainless steel lug nuts. Laser-etched instructions on each caliper show exactly how to install and bleed the brakes—no extra manual needed. The patented caliper mounting bolt and sleeve make assembly easier while keeping everything aligned for long-term durability.

From automotive-grade materials to a corrosion-resistant finish, every part of this DeeMaxx setup is built to last. It fits #42 spindles, works with wheel sizes 16" and larger, uses a 4-bolt brake flange configuration, and includes 9/16" wheel bolts on an 8 on 6-1/2" pattern. With a 7-year warranty backing it up, you get dependable braking performance season after season.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the D-Max 13 inch threaded hub and rotor assembly kit with the eight on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern, has the 9/16 inch diameter stubs for 8,000 pound axles. Has a max coat and a stainless finish to them. Now this kit here will let you upgrade your trailer from drum to disc brakes for superior performance. The threaded hubs on these are mostly used on oil bath axles. Now this kit will include everything laid out here on the table.
We're gonna go through all the parts. We'll start with the hub and rotors. So you'll get two of these max coated cast iron threaded hub and rotor assemblies. And on the inside, they install the bearing races. They're all pre-installed.
Comes with the two inner bearings, the two outer bearings, the two oil seals, the two threaded oil caps that'll screw onto the outside of the hub right there. If you notice, it comes with the lug nuts. There's 16 of the 9/16 by 18 size lug nuts. Now the stainless steel calipers, there's two of those. They come with the brake pads installed, and the installation bolts are included.
And then over here, we have the two max coated caliper mounting brackets that the calipers will attach to. Now this kit does require a hydraulic brake actuator that's rated at 1,500 PSI or above and brake lines to activate your brakes. Those items we do sell separately on our website. Now the hub and rotor, it's a one piece hub and rotor assembly, so it does reduce the chance of uneven rotor wear. If I turn it, you should be able to see on the side it has the vented design to it, so this will dissipate the heat faster to prevent premature brake pad wear.
And also if you notice on there on the hat section here, you see these drainage holes. This allows the water to drain easily, further minimizing any corrosion. Now this kit is excellent for occasional use in salt water or areas with a lot of snow slush and road salt. We mentioned the max coat finish. That's on the hub and rotors and on the caliper brackets. These do have a salt spray rating of over 1,000 hours. And then we have the stainless steel calipers, which are rust proof. This will offer dramatically shorter stopping distances and smooth control braking. Now I did wanna show you the brake pads. They are installed in the calipers. So if I turn this over, you can see they're ceramic brake pads. This will increase the stopping power. And then the stainless steel piston that's on the inside that activates those brakes, that's 2 1/4 inch diameter stainless steel piston, so it provides fast, responsive braking. Now this does require minimal maintenance, saving you time and money. Also, if you even notice on the front of the caliper, they actually laser etch instructions to take the guesswork out of installing the brakes and bleeding the brakes. Now this kit will fit the AL-KO 8,000 pound axles with the number 42 spindle. The wheel size that'll fit on this is 16 inches and larger. We mentioned the bolt pattern of eight on 6 1/2 inches, stud diameter of 9/16 of an inch. Now the diameter on the rotor itself is 13 inches. And the last thing I just wanna mention is the caliper mounting brackets that hold your calipers in the rotor. These, if you notice, have four holes on it. So it is designed to bolt to a four bolt brake flange configuration on your axle. But that should do it for a look at the D-Max 13 inch threaded hub and rotor assembly kit, eight on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern with the 9/16 inch studs for 8,000 pound axles.
