Could the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly part # CE32100G be used with a Transom Saver

Question:
I am looking for a roller and bracket assembly to mount a transom saver. The fork on the transom saver that would go to the roller on the back of trailer is 3 inches wide, would the roller and bracket #CE32100G work for this purpose, or do you recommend something else?

Transom savers install by having one end attach to the lower section of your outboard motor and the other end goes to some point on the trailer. Typically a roller. The CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly part # CE32100G would work well for this.
