I need a boat trailer guide-on that is 60inch long and will fit on a 3 1/2 inch beam. I can find lots that work on a 3inch beam but none for a 3 1/2inch beam. Can you help me?

Hey Tom, I know exactly what you’re running into but I have good news!
We do have an option that’s built for your 3-1/2 inch beam. The CE Smith post style guide-ons, part # CE27637, are designed to fit frames up to 3-1/2 inches wide, so you’ll get a proper clamp without having to modify hardware or force a fit. That gives you a much more solid and stable setup, which is what you want when you’re lining up at the ramp. These will be a bit taller than your original choice, at 65" tall compared to 40" tall.
This is a clean, bolt-on solution, so you won’t have to mess with swapping U-bolts or trying to make a smaller kit work. As long as your frame falls within that width range, it should mount up the way you’re expecting and keep those posts straight and secure.

Tom, My Guides have been very helpful getting the boat on my trailer for 2 reasons. The ramp is very steep and the trailer is completely under water, so the guides assist in knowing where the trailer is located. The second reason is the wind blowing at the time, which often requires adjusting how I need to steer the boat to get at the trailer I cannot see.
