etrailer Trailer Axles - e95GR

Highlights

  • 7,000-lb Capacity: Built for heavy-duty hauling with dependable strength and control.
  • 95" Hub Face x 79-1/4" Spring Centers: Matches common tandem setups for easy replacement.
  • 4" Drop Spindles: Lowers deck height for easier loading and steadier towing.
  • Easy Grease Spindles: Built-in zerks let you lube bearings quickly without disassembly.
  • 3" Diameter Round Beam: High-strength steel design resists flex for even tire contact.
  • Underslung Spring Seats: Mounts leaf springs under the axle for a lower, stable ride.

Features to know about

Lower Deck Height for Easier Loading: 4" Drop Axle Beam

Loading heavy gear or equipment gets easier when the trailer sits lower. This axle beam has a 4" drop that lowers the deck height, so you don’t have to lift as high when loading or unloading. The underslung design has spring seats welded to the underside of the axle for use with leaf springs (sold separately), keeping the trailer steady and easy to handle when loaded.

Smooth, Controlled Towing on Every Trip: Built-In Camber for Even Tire Contact

Nothing ruins a drive like a trailer that pulls unevenly. This 95" hub-face axle is built with a slight bend in the center that creates the correct camber angle. That design keeps the tires flat on the road for even tread contact, steady acceleration, and straight-line tracking. It helps prevent uneven tire wear and gives you the kind of predictable, confident handling that makes long hauls more comfortable.

Reliable Strength for Heavy Loads: 7,000-lb Capacity with 3" Diameter Tube

Whether you’re hauling equipment or heading cross-country, this axle’s 7,000-lb weight capacity gives you the muscle to do it safely. The 3" diameter round steel beam is made from high-strength steel and welded using a patented process that makes the spindles 40% stronger. It’s CSA, QAI, and SAE-N certified, so you can trust it to perform under load mile after mile.

Simple Bearing Maintenance: Easy Grease Spindles with Built-In Zerk

Keeping your bearings lubricated shouldn’t be a chore. The Easy Grease spindles on this axle come with built-in grease zerks, letting you add fresh grease through the spindle without taking anything apart. That means less time on maintenance and more time on the road, with smoother rotation and longer bearing life.

Ready to Mount and Go: Welded Spring Seats and Standard #42 Spindles

You don’t need to guess at placement or alignment. The spring seats and spindles are already welded on, so installation is straightforward. The spindles match standard #42 components, using 25580 inner bearings, 14125A outer bearings, and GS2250-DL seals with a 2.25" inner diameter. With a 95" hub face and 79-1/4" spring center spacing, it’s a solid foundation for a durable suspension setup built to last.

I could not find the exact axle for my 2006 Carryall tandem axle trailer. This one was a perfect fit between spring perches but increased the distance between wheels by one inch. Also had to use a wheel seal with a larger ID. This was not a problem at all. I will be replacing the front axle shortly. The originals had a rust issue where the spring gripes (u-bolts) hold the axle. Well built product!

by:

This is a quality axle that I will use on my single axle utility trailer. The axle is cambered and has the spring seats mounted. Just install your springs and hubs and you're ready to go! Great product!!!

by:

Easy to install, great quality and has performed flawless, used it on the front axle of my tandem axle skid loader trailer.

by:

Welds looked good however the assembler failed to rotationally align the weld on spindle/brake mounts properly. One was about 3 degrees off and the other side was an 9.5 degrees from the 12 oclock position. Not sure about the thickness of the tube. Kind of strange to look at when the top of the brake system is not at 12 oclock. Found this after I removed the spring pads on this 2.1 degree camber axle so I had to jig the tube to fine zero toe to locate the new pads as the 2.1 camber tube changes wheel alignment depending on the bend/ springpad relationship. Not sure the AVG JOE is going to be able to move the spring pads when the brake mounts can't be used as a reliable ref point. If the toe is off from improper pad rotational location. the trailer will eat tires at best or worse cause a loss of controlled tracking and someone could get get killed.

by:

Just what I needed.

by:

I like it the only reason I not put excellent is because the grease fitting thinks it's damaged

by:

The product seems perfect but both grease fittings on the axle got smashed and transport I have to replace them

by:

Everything is working perfect with that replacement axle. I have definitely put it to the test a lot of miles with a lot of weight. Very highly recommended.

by:

Great customer service quick delivery on orders

by:

The threads on one spindle were damaged. One spindle had a rubber cap protecting the spindle threads, but the other side did not. I doubt the damage occurred during shipping since the axle was well wrapped. I was able to get the spindle nut started (after many attempts) and straighten out the threads. Other than thread issue, the new axle fit perfectly.

by:

The axle fit great. Just what I ordered. The reason for 4 stars is because the packing did not protect the grease zurc on 1 side. There was a rubber guard that protected 1 side but not the other. Without the cover, the grease zurc was damaged during shipment.

by:

So far performing well. Have not been able to use trailer yet as much as I wanted to, don't use the grease nipples. Its easy to regrease without.

by:

Part was an exact fit

by:

The axles that I ordered last year are still working out great. But even better than the parts was the service I got from etrailer. It was so great working with a company who took the time to listen to my project and help me get the right parts I needed, especially coming right off the heels of a terrible experience dealing with bad information and wrong parts from a competitor. Even with some damages in shipping, the returns/ and replacements were no hassle, with most issues being quickly resolved and not even costing me any additional downtime. As a contractor keeping a small fleet rolling, your competency and professionalism have made me a customer for life!! You guys at etrailer will be my first stop for trailer parts.

by:

Prompt well packaged and excellent qual ity

by:

Great price and good quality. 3500 lbs 4 in 74 in spring ct . Like center grease to rear bearing hole. Packed then removed zerk and then used bearing buddy

by:

The product is very good, but the method of shipping was terrible. Originally, I ordered this about a month ago and the first one was shipped to me by USPS which I never received. I had to call Amy to re-order another one 2 weeks later. The second one was sent by UPS and I received it within four days. Amy is very helpful.

by:

WOW! Super fast shipping! Ordered on Saturday. They said it would be here on Friday, it showed up on Wednesday.

by:

fast shipping and the part fit great.

by:

Seems like a quality product. Did not come with nuts for the brake retaining studs though. They are 3/8-24 for anyone who needs to know. I couldn't find this info in the description.

  • 7k Trailer Axle Needed With A 95" Hub Face And 80" Spring Center
Hi Benito, Even though it's super close that 3/4" difference can cause issues since the spring seats must line up with the hangers welded to the frame rails. We do offer the Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e88GR which has a 7k capacity, 95" hub face, and 80" spring center. The spindles on this axle use bearings # 25580 (inner) and # 14125A (outer) and grease seal # GS-2250DL. You'll want to verify if your current hubs use the same bearings and seals, otherwise you'll need...

  • Recommended Axle w/ a 4" Drop and 89" Hub Face
Sorry but the closest axle we have to the dimensions you listed is the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with 4" Drop E-Z Lube Spindles item # 8327812. It's got a 89" hub face though and the spring seats sit at 74". The only other solution I would have is an axle-less system like the Timbren item # ASR3500S04.

  • Actuator, Brakes, Hubs, and Brake Line for Drop Axle 7k
Hey Kevin, yes all of the components you mentioned are correct for each other. With the trailer axle part # e95gr the surge actuator part # DM72VR is correct one to use, the brake kit part # AKFBBRK-7 is correct, the brake line kit part # 18SI-BLKIT will also work, and # AKHD-865-7-2-K is correct hub too. Do you have a wheel and tire combo already?

  • Replacing A 3.5K Trailer Axle With 4" Drop, 95" Hub Face and 78-1/4" Spring Center
We have two options that will be very close to your specification, options that very well may work for you, but will not be an exact match. The first option is the etrailer Trailer Axle Beam # e95GR. This has the 3.5K capacity 4" drop and 95" hub face that you are looking for. The spring center on this axle is 79-1/4". What we would do is sell you two loose spring seats # TRSS238. You would need to take the axle to a welder and have them remove the spring seats and weld the new ones on...

  • What Wheels and Tires Will Be Under 102" Wide On 95" 7K Trailer Axle
In regards to a trailer axle with 95" hub face like the Trailer Axle Beam part # e95GR, you'll likely need to use offset wheels and narrow tire to stay under the 102" max trailer width. The best we could get is 103.3" using the the Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel part # AM20766 and Westlake ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire part # LHWL401. If you switch to the Trailer Axle Beam part # e35GR you can get down to 102.3" which should not get you into any legal trouble. If you don't already...

  • Will The 7,000LB Axle Work as a Replacement For a Bent 6,000LB Axle With 4" Drop and 95" Hub Face?
Yes, the Trailer Axle Beam # e95GR which is rated for 7,000lbs can be used as a replacement for your 6,000lb axle. These size axle do use the same #42 size spindle which has a 1.75" inner diameter on the inner bearing and 1.25" inner diameter on the outer bearing. There are some manufacturers who use different inner diameter grease seals for the spindle. The new axle is designed for the Grease Seals # RG06-070 with a 2.25" inner diameter. So if you have the smaller 2.125" inner diameter...

  • Replacement 3 Inch Diameter Axle Beam with 95 Inch Hub Face Dimension
An axle with a 3 inch diameter axle tube typically has a 5200, 6000 or 7000 lb capacity. The inner and outer wheel bearings would be the determining factor that would tell you the actual capacity. We do have 95 inch axles (hub face to hub face dimension) but none of our offerings have the proper spring seat spacing, so you'd need to add seats in the correct locations. • For a 95 inch 5200 lb axle with spindles compatible with a 25580 inner/LM67048 outer bearing, use # e55GR • For a 95...

  • Lowest Height 7,000LB Trailer Axle Along With Electric and Disc Brake Components
We have a 94" # e35GR, 95" # e95GR or the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # TASR7KS02 which are all 7,000lb axles with a 4" drop. These are going to be the lowest possible height 7,000lb axles we carry. As they come with a bare spindle you will need a brake kit like the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust # 23-464-465, and 2 Hub/Drums # 42866UC3-EZ. We also have a Disc Brake Kit # DE53YR if you are wanting to go with the superior braking from hydraulic brakes.

  • Will The Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e95GR Fit a 82 Wide Frame?
I measured the Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e95GR in our warehouse and it has a measurement of 83-3/8" between the spindles at the narrowest point. This will leave you with 11/16" clearance on each side of your frame rail between the frame rail and spindle. You will need 2 of the larger 7,000lb Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assemblies # 42866UC3-EZ and a Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-180-181 per axle.
