Question:
Im looking at getting a trailer axle, e95gr. I want hydraulic brakes and this is going on a trailer that does not currently have brakes. Is DM72VR a recommended surgebrake atcuator? With that, then considering AKFBBRK-7 for my hydraulic breaks, 18SI-BLKIT for the break lines and AKHD-865-7-2-K for the hub. Other than the wheels, does that cover what I need? Thank you

Hey Kevin, yes all of the components you mentioned are correct for each other. With the trailer axle part # e95gr the surge actuator part # DM72VR is correct one to use, the brake kit part # AKFBBRK-7 is correct, the brake line kit part # 18SI-BLKIT will also work, and # AKHD-865-7-2-K is correct hub too.
Do you have a wheel and tire combo already?

Hey Kevin, I'm glad to hear that all the components you mentioned will work together for your trailer setup. Did you have a chance to decide on a wheel and tire combo yet? I'm asking because knowing your choice could help others who are setting up their trailers similarly.
