Trailer Wiring Solution for 2024 Ford Escape Platinum without Tow Package

Question:
I dont know if my 2024 ford escape platinum has the tow package but I did find the connector at the rear of the vehicle and the C59ZV plugged right into it. However the trailer lights are not working. I used a multi-meter to test at the 4 way connector and it would appear there is no power there. Do I need to have something programmed on my escape to enable that connector perhaps?? The trailer lights work fine when connected to one of my other vehicles.

Hey Jason, your 2024 Ford Escape is missing some components that only a Ford dealer would be able to provide. So you'd need to check with them to get those parts or you could go with the Tekonsha kit part # TK57CR which would be correct kit for versions of your vehicle without the tow package and would get you going sooner than later.
