Today we're going to be taking a look at the Fulton Spare Tire Lock. This is part number FSTL0603. This is a metal construction spare tire lock designed to go right over your current lug nuts and secure it in place. We've got our boat trailer spare here. We'll be putting it on in just a second so you can see how it works. It comes with two keys. It's got a removable base.
This is going to accommodate all the way up to a 9/16 of an inch wheel stud and for the longer wheel studs, the cap's removable so that stud's going to be able to come right through. We won't have any worries about getting to a point to where we can't get our lock onto our tire. There's a locking tab here on the rear. When installed that's going to prevent this lock from moving or turning. It works great with both the wheel studs and with the U-bolt style spare carriers so you won't have a big issue with getting this to work on most of your spare tire setups. As far as installing it goes, we're just going to remove one of our lugs. With that off, we'll separate our rear plate.
That goes right over the stud and our lug nut goes right back on. It's got a cone pattern in there which is great. It allows that lug nut to seat right in there where we want it and we just tighten it back down. Now we'll take our lock and cover, place it on, turn the key and just like that our spare tire is secured to our trailer. We're not going to have to worry about it missing. Now that we've gone over all the features and we've seen how it works, that will complete today's look at the Fulton Spare Tire Lock, part number FSTL0603.

Does the Job as Intended. Fits over a 21mm lug nut just fine.
At first when I received the item it look pretty well made. But when I was installing it I noticed a crack on one of the hardware. So I called etrailer back and spoke with Teresa on customer service. She just ask few questions and she immediately send me a brand new one. That’s 5 star on customer service. And she even told me not to return the defective item. So etrailer Big thumbs up on that. Now hope this product does its job from thieves.

It arrived a few days after I ordered. Installed quick. It’s to deter a quick theft. If a person really wanted to take the tire it’s not going to stop a large hammer.
Works as promised but my particular wheel has deep narrow sockets and did not allow attachment from the outside. Attaching from the inside solved the problem with equal security. Simple and effective. Love it.

I have an odd single 1/2" 13 pitch stud for my trailer's spare tire mount. I used a nylock nut nut to mount the spare. I purchased this lock to keep it secure. It appears to be working fine. I don't know that it is as secure as a traditional locking lug nut someone would have to work at it to get it off without the key.
At first I was a bit dismayed that the tire/wheel combo I ordered was unavailable. But I was offered a suitable substitute and the entire order was rapidly dispatched and received in a timely manner. I was very pleased with my order and the various items... so much so I immediately decided to order another wheel/tire combo for one of my trailers and use the two nice new wheels/tires intsead and use one of the old originals as the spare! Great products, fast service, super helpful customer service and they know their products! Thanks etrailer! I'll be doing business with you again real soon!
I have another just like it on a different trailer. Wished I could have gotten it keyed alike, however.

works great, but would be better if keyed alike. I have two, but need more.
Due to the virus and not using the trailer much, the lock is still there and works OK. I really can't give a good review but so far so good. All the products I have bought from you have been fine, with the exception of the previuos wheel lock that was not a good design but you guys replaced for free!
I ordered two mounted tires and wheels and two Fulton spare tire carriers. The tires were shipped in two different boxes. The spare tire carriers were put one each in the box containing the tire/wheels. When I opened the boxes, both of the spare tire carrier packages had come open in transit and the contents were scattered inside the tire boxes. One was fine and all parts were there and in the second, the keys for the spare tire carrier lock were missing. I called etrailer and told the representative, Ericka, what occurred. They were super helpful, professional and friendly. etrailer is sending me a replacement. Fantastic customer service! I highly recommend this company!
Shipping was perfect! The brack was as described and worked as planned. It came with two bolts and a lock, which slid over the bolt to prevent someone from just unbolting and taking the tire. I bought a second lock for the other side. Call me paranoid. It isn’t much of a deterrent but the more I can aggravate the bad guy the better. Thanks etrailer for providing these needed products at a fair price.
This has been one the best investments I have made. My spare is safe and yet so easy for me to access. I give this lock a 5 star rating. It'd quality made and well worth the price.

This spare tire lock has been outside in the weather ffg or one year. It is still holding up. It has no wear and tear on it at all. The product is still doing the job and still a very good investment. A quality product!
I think this will do the job. With the lugnut tightened down, you cannot turn this device with your hands, and even if you could turn it, I don't think you could get the lugnut off. Also, I like how the cover is a bit loose and yet covers the nut completely. My bolt did protrude slightly, so it is good that the rubber cover is removable for the longer bolts.
