Question:

Someone just stole all the spare tires off of every CRV on my street. So now I see I need to lock my spare. Will this work on the Honda CRV spare?

As long as the wheel stud of your Honda CRV's spare tire carrier is no larger in diameter than 9/16 of an inch and the lug nuts are less than 1 inch tall, the Fulton Spare Tire Lock, # FSTL0603, will work for you. This lock has a tab that is placed behind the lug nut of your spare tire and then the lock is placed over the lug nut. The enclosed and locked lug nut prevents the wheel from being stolen or removed without a key.

If you have 1/2 inch diameter wheel lugs, another option you may want to consider is the Redline Wheel Lock Set, # RG01-150. This set comes with different shaped lug nuts that require a special socket, which is included, to loosen. This should definitely deter the thieves from messing with your tire.
