Question:
The description mentions that it is lockable. Can you explain where and how to lock the spare tire? Do you have a suggestion for a lock?

To secure your spare tire to the Brophy Rigid Mount Spare Tire Carrier # BR56VR I recommend using the Tow Ready Spare Tire Lock # FSTL0603 which will go over the stud and lock the nut on to the trailer.
The metal construction of the # FSTL0603 makes it so it cannot be just broken off of the carrier.
