If you're replacing an old tank or tankless water heater, you'll want to pick a water heater with a door that will at least be as large as the current access door on your RV. Be sure to search for the water heater that includes the correct size you need.

Fogatti's tankless hot water heaters are popular for being efficient and quality options, but which model would be best for you? Let me give you a quick summary:
Fogatti 7: Lower Btus and lower flow rate compared to the 8s. This can be a good pick, though, because that means you're using less propane to heat water. If you aren't trying to heat very cold water, and you don't expect that anyone else is going to be using hot water while you're in the shower, then this will be a perfectly fine option, especially if you use low-flow fixtures for conserving water. I'd recommend it for solo campers or couples who almost never camp in cold months.
Fogatti 8 Plus: Higher Btus and flow rate while being the same size as the 7. You'll get slightly better performance, and it will be more effective at heating colder water. The extra flow rate won't necessarily allow you to run both a faucet and a shower at the same time without noticing a difference, since both fixtures can use 2.5 gallons per minute. But if you have a higher-flow shower head, this can keep up better. I'd recommend it if you're likely to camp when it gets chilly overnight and want a little extra performance.
Fogatti 8 Pro: This is the same as the 8 Plus, with the addition of a water mixing tank. This tank adds a few more inches to its depth, but that generally won't be much of an issue, especially if you're replacing a water heater with a tank. I'd recommend it if any variance in water temperature is going to really annoy you.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Fagotti InstaShower 7 RV tankless water heater with this white metal hinge door. Now if you are wondering about the differences between the InstaShower 7, 8 Plus, and 8 Pro, take a look at this product page, the lower half of this page, and we have a really good summary of each of those water heaters. And you can take a look at those summaries and decide for yourself which water heater is going to work best for your particular application. But as for this InstaShower 7, this tankless water heater is going to work great if you generally don't camp in colder months and don't use a lot of hot water all at once. This 48,000 BTU heater heats 2 1/2 gallons per minute, which is the average water flow of an RV shower.
This larger size white hinge metal door with this flat lock is going to give you easy access for cleaning or maintaining the water heater. So as you can see, this is going to open up very easily and give you plenty of access to that water heater. And this door is specifically sized for replacing a six gallon tank water heater with a 15 inch tall by 18 inch wide access door. Now other sizes and colors of these doors are available for this InstaShower 7 tankless water heater. You can pick this up in black.
And on your screen, I'm including the item number for the black version of this water heater. So you can just take that item number and pop it in the search field of our website and that will take you to that black version of this water heater. But like I said, we do also have other sizes. We have a smaller size of this door and a larger size of this door that will work with this water heater depending on your particular application. This would be like the middle size that we do provide for this water heater.
Now the efficient propane burner is going to heat water only when you use your faucets or shower. And the lower BTUs is gonna conserve gas if you don't need super hot water or you only camp in warm months. The pilot ignition type is automatic, and as you can see, very easy to open and close. And once you push that down, that door's gonna be secured. This does include this wall controller with digital display that's gonna let you adjust your temperature and show diagnostic air codes.
The temperature settings is gonna be from 95 degrees to 123 degrees Fahrenheit. The water pressure is from 14 1/2 to 116 PSI. The preferred pressure is gonna be about 40 to 45 PSI. And the internal safety components are gonna protect you, your family, and your RV. For instance, this is going to automatically cut off the gas if the flame goes out to prevent leaks in your RV. Let me go ahead and give you some other measurements of this unit itself. I gave you the measurements of the door already. Giving you the overall depth, including the door. It's gonna be about 14 5/16 inches deep. The water heater itself is about 13 inches wide, 13 inches tall, and then without the door about 13 13/16 inches deep. So this is going to be a relatively easy installation. It does include the hardware for the door and for the water heater. And I do wanna point out that a temperature and pressure relief valve are required for installations not included with this. So that is something you would have to pick up separately. And additional cutout depth is going to be needed to make your connections. But I think that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
