When the back end squats under a heavy trailer or bed load, handling and braking suffer. The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 8,000 lbs of rear axle support with hollow rubber springs that sit above the axle. They stiffen as weight increases to keep your ride level and stable while towing or hauling gear. Uneven loads can make one side of your vehicle sag more than the other. Each Timbren spring works independently to support its side of the vehicle, helping to compensate for off-center loads and reduce body roll when swerving or cornering. These hollow rubber springs act as shock absorbers, cushioning bumps and taking the brunt of road impact before it reaches your factory suspension. I installed the timbrens on a F350 dually with a slide in camper. The ride was extremely rough couldn't keep the cabinet doors in the camper shut, i think they are a good product but just way to stiff a ride for our liking replace dwith airbags and compressor.

It fit perfect, I had to get a special order due to a small lift on my truck suspension but there help at timbren got me the special order number and allowed me to order through etrailer properly, where several other companies couldn't seem to get the job done because of the special order item number, so" hats off to the sales associate at etrailer". It definitely keeps my truck bed from squatting with my UTV up top and my trailer on, and very little sway on corners. Seems to ride the same with no load at all. I don't know if airbags would have been better, but for me this did what I wanted with much less work and expense. I have a F-350 S.B. (single wheel) carrying a 1100 lb. UTV atop my diamondback cover pulling a 22' trailer with 350 tongue weight.

Timbren products are superior quality. this is the second Truck we are putting them on. We have heavy Pickup camper that we swap between trucks. Timbren system works great on both trucks! etrailer does a great job of getting product tome quickly!

Pretty unhappy on this one. Placed the order on the 14th with a 17th delivery date. A confirmation email comes back that it's been shipped but delivery will be on the 20th. I have to delay my trip waiting for this to arrive—last piece of the puzzle. And I get an empty box. I was thinking of canceling when I got the confirmation, should have gone with my initial response. I called and was told a replacement isn't available until mid-March. That's not acceptable. Canceled to order and now have to order elsewhere,

Works well on my F250 6.75 bed with a 1700lb dry Capri Retreat camper. Solved 4" squat without airbags. Eliminated sway in high winds.

I have Timbrens on an F350. We have a heavy truck camper that we use multiple times a year. I've had both these and airbags on multiple rigs over the years and the Timbrens are superior by far especially because they don't leak at the connections, valves or bags or work loose. They also help with the sway.
There is no pump or electrical involved. Airbags have just too many parts and potential points of failure guaranteed to happen away from home on a muddy road. Once Timbres are installed you're done. In this case the less expensive and simpler solution is the better one!

So far they have been fine. They are part of my suspension upgrades, along with stable loads and sway bar. I wasnt worried about harder ride when camper off, I wanted best suspension when camper was on. I would definitely recommend them.

Huge posotive difference felt when towing a fifth wheel trailer. There is still too much gap between the axle tube and the cushion, so Timbren is sending additional hardware at no charge.

It was tough to remove the stock bump stops on a 06 f350 the new timbrens were straight forward easy to install. They are quite expensive for what they are! I won’t be putting the slide in camper back on until spring so I really won’t know how they will perform but I hope they work as advertised.

I contacted the manufacturer about this and they believe it is odd and it sounds like the gap between their product and the axle may have the wrong gap. If you would like to look into it further, I will email you information on how to contact Timbren.
