Question:
I have a 2000 F250, 2wd with a 7.3. I am a full time farrier, and I have roughly 2300 lbs in my truck at any given time. Im looking for something to help level the truck out and take some of the abuse from the leaf springs. Im considering Timbren stops, possibly airbags, and all new, heavier spring packs. Would the Timbrens be a good choice for a static load, and would I need a spacer? Thanks!

I have the perfect options for you. In order to level the rear of your 2000 Ford F-250, I recommend using a set of heavy duty jounce springs such as the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFRTT350E or a set of rear air bags like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2550.
The jounce springs will help to level the added weight over the rear axle by replacing the factory bump stops with a set of heavy duty rubber bump stops positioned over rear axle under the frame. The only downside of the Timbrens is that they are not the most comfortable option to consider when looking to level the load of a vehicle. The springs will not require the use of an additional spacer as long as your truck is at stock height.
The best option for you to consider would be to install a set of airbags. The airbags will not only help level the rear of the vehicle but they will also work to increase ride comfort. As they are adjustable, you will be able to control the amount of ride height. If you have a lifted truck, you will need spacers which I can provide for you with if you can tell me the amount of height the truck has.
I have attached a review and installation video of the Firestone airbags on a 2000 Ford F-250 for you.
