Video Transcript for Review of Bulldog Winch Tire Inflation and Repair - Deflators - BDW33SV

Jeff Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we'll take a look at the Bulldog Winch automatic tire deflators for quantity of four. Now these tire deflators will attach to your tire's vale stems and they'll automatically deflate all four tires to a preset level. So these are perfect for setting tire pressure levels at the trail head. Not deflating tires to a lower pressure improves your off-road traction and smooths out the vehicle ride. Now, these are adjustable pressures from five PSI to a 30 PSI.

When you receive these, they come factory preset to 15 PSI. But basically to adjust the pressure setting on the deflator, it's pretty simple to do. What you'll do is find a tire or a spare tire that you wanna reduce to what pressure you need. So if you wanna reduce it, this would be your valve stem that would be on your tire. So what you'll do is just take your valve cap off and then you'll put a deflator on there to reduce it.

Get a tire gauge and deflate it to what pressure you want. Once you reduce that tire or that spare tire to the pressure you want, then what you'll do, is you'll take this deflator here and you'll remove, unloosen this lock nut. There's a lock nut right here. Just loosen that lock nut and then twist the lock nut all the way down and then take the adjusting cap and twist that all the way down. Once you have both of them all the way down, then what you'll do is screw that onto the tire that you reduced to the pressure you want and tighten that all the way down until it snugs up.

Once that's all tightened down, then what you'll do, is unscrew this adjusting cap and just keep unscrewing it until you'll start to hear air come out. By here, you'll see a hole, and as you start unscrewing that, once the air starts coming out, then you'll stop and then tighten it back a little bit. And that's the air pressure you wanna set on the deflator and then to keep it set, you just take your lock nut tighten it all the way up, snug it down and it'll keep that adjusting cap at the air pressure you want. And then what you'll do is just remove it from that tire and that deflator will be all set to the pressure you want. And then you'll just repeat it with the three other ones to set those.

So very simple to set it to what air pressure you want. And it is a very easy installation to install these. As I showed you, you just screw them onto the existing valve stems. These are a machine brass deflator which is very durable and corrosion resistant. And as you can see does includes the four deflators. And if you notice a nice zippered storage case that you can just zip it closed to keep them protected and then store wherever you need them. But that should do it for the review on the Bulldog Winch automatic tire deflators for a quantity of four..

I was not satisfied with the product. The case was nice and the look of the tire deflators was quality, but I just couldn’t get deflators to function properly. Some of the deflators let air out at different rates and a couple hardly let any air out regardless of the adjustment of the deflator. The poorly performing deflators were used on various valve stems to ensure it was not a faulty valve stem. Extensive effort was used to calibrate deflators to 10 psi and not one of the deflators was able to hold that setting effectively

  • Replacement Camera For A Voyager RV Camera System On A 2009 Renegade Motorhome
If you have the old first generation system like I'm thinking you have then you can replace the rear camera with part # VGR84VR. You should have a 4-pin CEC connector on your current camera if this is the case and your monitor would not have the "WiSight 2.0" logo on it. The 1st and 2nd generations of these camera systems are not cross compatible so it's imperative that you choose the correct generation equipment. The # VGR84VR is the only portion of the 1st generation systems that we...
