Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident: 1,500-lb Front Suspension Support

A heavy front load can make your ride nose down and throw off steering and braking. These SumoSprings Solo helper springs add up to 1,500 lbs of support at 50-percent compression to keep your front end level and steady. They help your factory suspension carry the extra weight so your tires maintain full contact with the road for better control and safer headlight aim.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Progressive Load Control

Whether you’re driving empty or carrying a serious load, these springs adjust their stiffness automatically. With lighter loads, they compress easily for a soft, comfortable ride. As weight increases, they stiffen up—compressing by as much as 80 percent—to take on the extra support without bottoming out. That progressive action means fewer jolts over bumps and smoother highway miles with a consistent, predictable feel.

Stay Steady in Crosswinds and Turns: Independent Spring Action

Each spring works on its own to balance uneven loads and reduce body roll. This helps keep the vehicle stable when you turn sharply, encounter uneven pavement, or drive through gusty winds. With both sides reacting individually, you get steadier handling and less sway when conditions try to push you around.

Built Tough for Real Conditions: Durable Microcellular Urethane

Made from microcellular urethane that resists oils, road salts, and UV rays, these springs are built for long-term use through heat, cold, and grime. They operate dependably from -25 F to 200 F and compress vertically with minimal side expansion so they won’t rub against nearby parts. With no tubing or air pressure to maintain, they’re a maintenance-free way to strengthen your front suspension and keep your ride under control.

Easy Upgrade Without Drilling: Simple Bolt-On Design

These helper springs are custom fit and install with a straightforward bolt-on process—no drilling required. You can upgrade your suspension quickly using basic tools and get back on the road knowing your setup fits right and performs the way it should every time you load up.

Product is great, exceeded my expectations. Install is simple and straightforward. It’s a night and day difference in both the body roll and the handling small bumps all the way up to off-road conditions.

Appreciate you leaving a review Austin, It's always nice when a product exceeds expectations and these springs have been highly rated. Are you typically off road or do you plan on towing?

What most new RV owners don't know is that the chassis that their new mobile home sits on barely has the equipment to support that new home. Adding SumpSprings is going to improve your ride and help support the structure of your home. FYI, use a jack on the leaf springs to help align the holes on the bracket to the ones on the frame.

30 Minutes for all 4?! That's got to be some kind of record, Dennis! Glad the process was nice and easy and I hope they serve you well. Let us know if you do end up needing to go to the heavier duty yellow option as well, we always like to get real life experiences from people. : ) Any more trips planned for the year?

2018 ford F-250 Super Duty
eTrailer made the choice easy by offering advise on options and applications. Installation was also quite simple, though the directions were a little too simple. However, I was able to determine once installed prior to final torque, that the top plate could be rotated to align the helper springs with the corresponding flat plate on top of the differential/axel perch. Honestly, with daily driving if there is a difference I cannot tell, which is a GOOD thing. My F250 Powerstroke diesel, like most others, unladen has a firm ride. I did not want it to be more so. My 2018 does not fit in my garage not even close. So outside 24/7 since purchase, the OEM bumpstops at all 4 corners needed to be replaced and I wanted to upgrade them. These are quality no-maintenance bumpstops, and did not require any additional spacers to fit properly with my 2-2.5 inch leveling spacers. Paired with the Timbren SES for the rear, my Super Duty is set for all of my needs, including light to medium hauling / towing, for the foreseeable future. A huge shout-out to all of the people I spoke with for both purchases - thank you for all of your advise and assistance!!! eTrailer will most certainly be a first-stop should I need help with anything else I may need from all of their other and quite expansive upgrades for my rig.

I have a Workhorse W22 chassis. I installed steering dampeners and HD sway bar to reduce the "loose" steering. After installing the SumoSprings Front Spring helpers on the front end, 90% of the looseness on the front end disappeared. It is now a pleasure to drive. Very little sway from passing trucks and cross winds. I will be installing a set on the rear this year.

That is awesome to hear! It must be such a relief to not have to put so much energy into controlling the wheel while driving now.

2018 Thor Freedom Elite Motorhome
I recently purchased/installed SumoSprings for the front axle on my 2018 Thor Freedom Elite 28FE. Having previously purchased/installed SumoSprings for the rear axle I have to say that the overall improvement in ride/handling has exceeded my expectations. As always, etrailer provided valuable insights and prompt inquiries to my questions. The level of in-depth product knowledge amongst the etrailer staff is second to none. Thanks etrailer!

Ordering and delivery was quick and easy. The SumoSprings really improved the ride of our C Class RV. The only problem was one of the springs had cross threaded threads so I had to tap the treads to make it work. They were delivered in a plain brown box with no manufacture information or instructions. It makes believe the were a returned item, the previous purchaser couldn't get them to work either. I just had the tools and skill to correct the problem.

2006 Dodge Ram 3500 SRW 5.9 Cummins 4x2
Original bump stops were dry rotted and almost not existent. Very easy install. Took about 30 minutes. The Sumo springs are engaged all the time. This may be due to the truck being a 4x2? You can feel the front end is stiffer over bumps and dips of the road, which I feel is ok and not extreme. Towing the 5th wheel I feel the truck handles better than before.
by:
These Sumo springs (as well as the ones I purchased for the rear of my RV) installed easily, fit perfectly and do a great job reducing vibration and improving ride quality. Very pleased.
by:
2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500
Installed front Sumosprings yesterday but have not driven vehicle yet. The front have full contact with the A-frames.
Should help with van side-to-side sway
.
Shopping around for a set to install on the rear as well.

2022 Winnebago Navion Motorhome
I’ve made several purchases from eTrailer and have been satisfied every time! Recently bought front and rear Sumo helper springs. Installation was a breeze. They have helped reduce the side to side sway caused by wind, freeway traffic and rough roads. So far im very happy with them.
