This anti-rattle hitch pin dramatically reduces any movement or vibration between your hitch and ball mount. Designed for use on hollow-shank ball mounts and accessories.

Note: This device can only be used with hollow-shank ball mounts and hitch accessories.
The anti-rattle Silent Hitch Pin from Let's Go Aero takes the rattle and play out of the connection between your trailer hitch and your ball mount or hitch accessory. The unique design features a sturdy steel block with an attached spring that is designed to sit inside the shank of your hitch-mounted accessory.
Place the block inside your ball mount or hitch accessory and line up the hole in the block with the pin hole in your ball mount. Slide your ball mount into your hitch and insert the hitch pin. To activate the anti-rattle device, just tighten the pin. Doing this will pull the accessory up against the wall of your hitch receiver, thus keeping the accessory from moving around inside your hitch. No more annoying clanking or vibrating.

This anti-rattle hitch pin dramatically reduces any movement or vibration between your hitch and ball mount. Designed for use on hollow-shank ball mounts and accessories.I've been searching for a product that will take the place of the pin and keep the hitch from rattling around. This product does that. I would have preferred they were made in the USA and used a hardened bolt.
This pin eliminates all the annoying rattling of my cargo carrier. It is worth the money. I am a satisfied customer.
I have a double hitch installed on the back of my Class C motorhome. The top hitch is for my bike rack and the bottom hitch is for my Blue Ox to tow my car. The entire assembly was VERY loose with A LOT of play. I installed the 2 Roadmaster Quiet Hitch anti-sway rings on the two bottom receivers which had the lips around the receiver. The top hitch did not have the lip so I installed the Silent Hitch Pin in it. All the hitches now have no movements at all and I am so happy with my purchases! I am a single traveling lady and if I can do it, so can you! Thanks etrailer for your great parts!
Works great and can be adapted to anything receiver
This was an awesome addition to my hitch to prevent the hitch “slapping “ when pulling light weight aluminum trailers. There’s a slight relearning process each time you remount it but it helps to “post-assemble” the pin assembly after removing it to help refresh the memory of us elders with “old-timers” disease when we reinstall later
I haven't had a chance to use it yet bet it seems really well built and will work perfect for my needs. The Nut is hugue and could never strip out. I'll try to post again after I use it.

Its funny you should ask right now. Im going to install it next week, so leave me a way to post then. The one strange thing is Ill have to drill out the hole in the Receiver and the slide in part a small amout for the Pin to fit. Im it will work out perfectly.
I love these anti-rattle hitch pins. Easy to use and very secure. I usually lockable ones but went with the non-lockable due to price.
Works really good takes the play out of the hitch.
I bought this to use use in combination with a two way hitch stabilizer on my front mounted spare carrier. I pretty much only go to Baja way off the beaten path and the roads are not the best. These two things really tightened up my receiver mounted spare carrier. No more wobbles. Etrailer sent it quickly and it got here three days early.Joy!
I'll simply say this about these anti rattle hitch pins. If you ever try one, you'll never use a regular hitch pin again. These things really take a lot of noise out of your head when you're pulling a trailer. I like them so well, I've recently purchased more of them as gifts for friends and family members that have trailer hitches.

Yes, even after one year of owning it, I feel that product is a must have for anyone using a trailer hitch. Ive recommended them to friends and family. And thats coming from a very frugal spender.
Heavy duty. Worked great. Stopped the w obble.
I was sick of the noise that the hitch made every time I drove over a pothole, speed bump etc so purchased one of the Anti-Rattle Hitch Pins from eTrailer - I should have done this years ago. The Pin works as advertised plus the service from Tommy was first class, as always!!

It works as advertised and easier than any other product I have ever seen !
Does the job. No rattle or sway with my cargo carrier. There's a locking cap that can be used in place of the safety clip. I wish it had been a suggested purchase when checking out. However, since you can torque this thing down tight, a thief would have to be walking around with a 3/4" wrench to get it off.
Great Product
This cargo carrier was amazing on our trip to the beach. With the anti-rattle hitch pin you couldn't even tell it was back there. The only slight problem is that the clearance with it on our 2019 RAV4 wasn't great. We had a little trouble getting in and out of driveways, but we made it work. Customer service at etrailer.com was super. The agent helped me pick all the parts based on my needs and they worked perfectly. I will definitely return to the site when I have other auto needs.
Alex directed me to the right part for my hitch issue. I received the part in 3 days. Great service!

A year in and the anti rattle hitch pin is still working great.
This product is still going strong. I purchased a cheaper model for another hitch product and regretted doing so. This stays in place so pin lineup is perfect every time.

This is still working out well. As I said a year ago dont go cheap. I have several hitch setups for bikes and motorcycles and the setup with this product I never have issues lining up.
ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!! Without this Anti-Rattle pin, my bike rack rocks back & forth on the hitch whenever I go over a bump in the road, A LOT!!! With the pin, everything is secure and steady!!
Good product. Great service.
I bought two of these to use with my Extend-A-Bed (t-post for truck). Since I need two (one at my truck receiver and one at the joint of the Extend-A-Bed), I wanted one of the less expensive options that etrailer has for sale. I am very satisfied with the product. It holds my bed extender securely and keeps it from rattling.
Very satisfied with this product. I like the hitch hauler to be stable and not rattle all of the time.

It still works fine, no problems. Would recommend it if people want their hauler stay stable.
We bought the anti-rattle hitch to tighten the connection between our van's 2" hitch and our hitch reducer, which brings the opening down to 1.25" to fit our car's Thule bike rack. The connection was a little too loose for us to feel comfortable toting our bikes cross-country. Joanne suggested this product, and it saved us the money we would have spent buying a second bike rack for the van.
