Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the SumoSprings rear-axle solo custom helper springs. Now, as you know, towing or hauling a heavy load can cause your rear to sag as your factory suspension compresses under the weight of that load. And this means that your rear axle is trying to support not only the extra load, but also the weight of your vehicle. And because there is less weight on the front axle, your front tires may make less contact with the road, which is going to cause problems with traction, steering, braking. So these SumoSprings are going to help upgrade your vehicle's factory suspension to help level your vehicle, improving driving performance and keeping your ride more comfortable. These 1,400-pound-capacity helper springs are going to help provide progressive load support.

So the more that you load them, the stiffer they become. With the lighter load, the springs will compress easily for soft engagement and a less bumpy ride. The closed cell urethane material is going to allow for smooth contact between the springs and your vehicle. And the springs act like a shock absorber to dampen road vibration. Now, the springs can also compress by as much as 80% to support a rear heavy load and to help your factory suspension bear up under that load.

As you can see, I do have them slightly, or loosely rather, put together. You're gonna get these two spacers, and then the two brackets that are going to fit your Land Cruiser or LX 570. I mentioned that the weight capacity is 1,400 pounds, so at 50% compression, 1,400 pounds, but SumoSprings do not actually increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity, so you wanna make sure that you don't exceed your manufacturer's recommended weight limit.
