Question:

I need a replacement remonte for airlift. Fsn:A21-760-9489 F3 wireless ecu pack.

I do have a solution, but the replacement remote for your system is no longer available. The only option is to completely replace the system. If you want to stick with a wireless option then I recommend the Air Command Compressor System # F2610. This uses your smartphone so you won't have to worry about a replacement remote in the future. This is also a single path system. If you want a dual path it would have to be a replacement with an analog gauge like the # Firestone Air Command II # F2178.

Since the remote for theA21-7609489 is no longer available do I have to replace the whole system or can I just replace the ECU? The compressor and other components seem to work fine.

@Rob I would double check with Firestone first. We have had conflicting information in the past. I think the last time they told me a replacement ECU service pack would take care of it that customer called Firestone mid install to troubleshoot and they told him it wouldn't work. I remember going back and forth with them because I had the email but it was never really resolved. I wouldn't want to have the same thing happen to you and add extra steps and a headache to what is already frustrating over a remote.

@RobinH My choice going forward is pretty limited. Either a new ECU or new system. Checked with two local Firestone dealers in my area, they don't handle air bag systems.

@Rob that is no surprise, they're the same parent company but different divisions. You need to actually call or email them. You can use 800-888-0650 or email [email protected]
