Question:
Looking at air bags for my truck, one says not compatible with in bed hitch, is that talking about a puck system or not talking about a puck system

Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out, and good question. When an air bag kit states "not compatible with in-bed hitch" that refers to both factory puck systems and aftermarket 5th wheel or gooseneck hitches. Both use similar frame brackets and often go in the same place as the air bag brackets.
That said, we do offer kits for your 2026 Ram 3500 that will work just fine with an in-bed hitch. For that I recommend the following:
- Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2615
These are 5,000 lb air bags, so they'll work great for supporting the rear of the truck for any bumper pull, gooseneck or 5th wheel setup. The brackets are made specifically to be compatible with the in-bed hitch brackets, so there won't be any interference there. Just keep in mind the # F2615 kit is for 4WD models. If your truck is 2WD you'll need part # F2616 instead. Also keep in mind these will not work on trucks that have the factory air suspension system.
I also recommend adding an onboard compressor so you can monitor and adjust the bags on the fly. The Firestone Air Command Standard Duty Air Compressor # F2610 is what I'd go with. You can do all your adjustments and diagnostics thru the Firestone app on your phone.
What kind of camper will you be hauling?

I installed bags on a 2022 Ram 3500. Much better ride, tire wear, and not blinding people at night while towing 40 ft gooseneck camper. Easy to install

This fit into my 25 ram 3500 with factory puck system. I use the puck system with B&W companion slider.
