Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Roadmaster snap hook for safety cables. Now a lot of times flat towing is kind of a lifestyle for a lot of people, and part of that is it sees all different kinds of weather, and just different, hot, cold, snow, anything, and these see all that road grime, debris, and over time, things can kind of break down. And if you wanna protect your tow bar from becoming old and aging, you can actually replace it with just replacement parts, and this is one of them. And the great part is, you can see these are spring loaded which is really nice, that way you know that it's actually snapping in place and not going to become unhooked, but sometimes over time these spring can actually wear out and it can be stuck or it can get bent and they just kind of over time can wear out, so to be able to just replace this hook is pretty nice. You'll have that new spring loaded action again, you'll be able to snap-in no problem.
Now this is sold individually, so if you wanna replace just one, you can do that, if you want to replace both sides and you wanna make it a fresh new tow bar again, you'll wanna pick up two of these. It might be a good time to also pick up a quick connect as well, just to kind of finish that off and have a whole new, fresh safety cable hookup. These snap hooks were a game changer for my tow setup. Saves i dont know how much time in both hookup and disconnect of my tow vehicle.
