Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today I'm gonna take a look at the Scrubblade 19-inch long hybrid style ShadeBlade windshield wiper blade. This one's in a blue color, and it is for a quantity of one blade. Now, to purchase the correct wiper blades for your vehicle, what you're gonna need is the length of the wiper blade and how it attaches to your wiper arm. To get the correct length, you can look in your vehicle's owner's manual or you can actually measure the blade on your vehicle. To measure it, just to get a tape measure, measure the blade from one end to the other.
On this one, it's gonna measure 19 inches long. Now, you can also use your fit, or the fit guide on our website. You can pull up your year and model vehicle and it'll show you the correct wiper size you need for your vehicle. Now, many vehicles, you wanna remember, will use different lengths for the driver's side, passenger side, and even the rear window. So once you know the size, then all you need to determine is how it connects to your wiper arm, and there's many different type of connectors for that.
You need to match the type of connector that's on your vehicle to the blade with the same type of connector. Most wiper kits like this one will come with a selection of different adapters to fit many vehicles, so you just have to choose the correct adapter to attach the blade to your vehicle. It is a quick, easy installation on most arms 'cause they all use the standard J-hook, side pin, or bayonet-style connectors. This is an all-weather hybrid style wiper from Scrubblade. Has the dual blades to provide crystal clear visibility.
And I did wanna zoom in even a little bit closer to show you what we're talking about. Here you can see the dual blades. The outer blade will scrub away mud, bugs, and road grime. The inner blade clears any remaining water and debris for superior visibility. And if you look real closely, one of the main features on this, if you look on the edge of the blades, both blades, they have these little triangular bumps on 'em.
Those are patented scrubbers, and they're on the outside of each blade. They'll cut through any tough road grime. The blade itself is a silicone blade, has a nice ceramic coating to ensure quiet, chatter-free operation. Does hold up to heat and UV rays. The frame on the wiper blade is a rubber covered frame, has a nice, low profile blade, prevents wind lift, and the center attachment point ensures even pressure distribution for optimal performance. This one has a blade color of blue, which they actually call a Blazin Blue. It is also available in black, white, and red colors. We do sell those separate on our website. Again, the length, 19 inches. It is for a quantity of one wiper blade. That film could be from a rain repellent on your windshield, but I have confirmed that Scrubblade does not coat their wipers with Rain-X coating. They said that if it is raining, you should use wiper fluid to minimize noise. In a heavy rain, squeaking her and there is normal for any blade; but it should not be constant and loud with each swipe. If you would like to try rotating the wiper 180 degrees when issues like this occur, that can help fix the pressure points and allow the blade to make better contact. All you have to do is rotate the adapter located in the middle of the blade itself. There are two pinch tabs underneath the blade in the middle. Pinch these together and pull up on the adapter and it will come off. Rotate the adapter 180 degrees and reinstall the wiper as you did before.
