Not getting Shore power to the camper or generator power

If I understand your statement correctly, you have the Furrion Automatic Transfer Switch, # F50ATS installed but are not getting power to the RV. If you have not yet attempted to isolate/by pass the transfer switch to ensure the issue is within the unit itself I suggest this be your next step.

Please review the attached wiring diagram and image to ensure your transfer switch is installed accordingly.

Not getting shore power, checked all fuses and breakers and they are good. Within the ATS theres a blue button(contactor bottom relay) that is not contacting while plugged onto shore. But when you do push and hold the blue button everything starts to work but will not stay down, only works while holding it down. The top relay(blue button top relay) for the generator does work, it clicks and stays down whenever you turn the generator on. All in all does this mean i have a bad ATS?

@RoyV Hello Roy, Based on what you're describing, it sounds like your automatic transfer switch (the Furrion # F50ATS) is not switching over to shore power like it should. You’ve already checked all the fuses and breakers, which is great. The issue seems to be with the internal relay inside the transfer switch that handles shore power. When you're plugged into shore power, that relay isn’t engaging on its own, but if you manually press and hold the blue button on it, everything powers up. That tells us the relay itself still works mechanically, but the control board inside the switch isn’t telling it to turn on. The generator side is working fine, which further confirms the problem is just with the shore power section. Most likely, the switch isn’t detecting the shore power properly, or something inside the control circuit has failed. If shore power is making it to the input terminals of the switch (which you can check with a multimeter), then the transfer switch should be activating the relay automatically since it’s not, and it only works when you hold it down, the internal electronics have likely gone bad. Yes, it sounds like your transfer switch has failed and needs to be replaced. How long have you had the # F50ATS?

@KateF hello thanks for the reply, we had the ats since 2017. Just wanted to make sure it was the ats itself before ordering a new one.
