Wiring an Automatic Transfer Switch with Inverter and Lithium Battery
Updated 12/16/2025 | Published 11/20/2024 >
Question:
How do I wire my Redodo 3000 watt inverter, that has a built in charger to the Furion 50 amp ATS? I basically want to make sure my inverter is charging my single 300 ah lithium battery and running some items while Im on the road, like mainly my refrigerator. I did disconnect the factory converter in my Montana 5th wheel.

Hey Robert, you'd want to run from the battery to the inverter to the Furrion Transfer Switch # F50ATS. Then you'd run the shore power to the other AC power.

Hey Robert, how did things go wiring your Redodo inverter through the Furrion transfer switch in your Montana? Did it keep your fridge and battery running like you wanted while on the road? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar system.
