Can I Use 50 Amp Transfer Switch With 30 Amp RV Setup

I can use this switch with 120v 30a, correct? 30a is my current setup, but may upgrade to 50a down the road and want to be setup when the time comes.

It is possible to use a 50 Amp transfer switch with a 30 amp setup since you plan on upgrading in the future however, the Furrion Transfer 50 Amp Switch is made for 50 Amp setups. I recommend to use Progressive Dynamics 50 Amp Transfer Switch part # PD52. This 50 Amp transfer switch will allow you to hook up the 30 Amp shore power to the HOT 1 connection in the box. When you decide to upgrade to a 50 amp setup, you will use HOT 1 and HOT 2.
