Looking For Automatic Transfer Switch To Run With Firman P08008 Generator

Hello Aaron, thanks for reaching out. Does your RV run on 30 amp or 50 amp power? We have automatic transfer switches for both. Here is what I recommend:

- Furrion Automatic Transfer Switch - 30 Amp - 120V # F30ATS

- Furrion Automatic Transfer Switch - 50 Amp - 125/250V # F50ATS

Thank You Jesse. The trailer is a 50 amp. Curious how this switch reacts while generator is on and shore power is restored. Does the use simply shut down the generator or is something else required? Thanks Again!

@AaronS The transfer switch does not start or stop the generator. It simply stops the transfer of power to the main source when shore power is detected. So it would still transfer power, but the generator would have to be shut off manually.
