I need to replace the steps on my 2023 Imagine XLS 17 MKE. Which of these steps are best for this camper?

To determine the best steps for your 2023 Grand Design Imagine XLS 17MKE you'll need to first measure your entry height and bracket/door width, depending on the style of step. Personally, the best steps for any trailer are going to be fold-down style which have adjustable feet to give you a strong base when walking up and down the steps instead of the spring board feeling you get with pull-out steps.

To measure for pull-out steps you'll need to measure the mounting bracket width and the height from the ground to the top of the mounting bracket location. The Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs # LC432696 you were looking at have a 31" - 34" entry height and 27-1/2" Mounting Bracket Width.

For Fold-down steps you'll measure the width from the narrowest point (door flange) and the height from the ground to the top of the door threshold.
