Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're looking at our Presto fit interior RV step rug for your landings here at etrailer. So this protects the flooring of your RV, especially when you step up. And the first thing you step on and your side, your RV, or your motor home, or your trailer is this landing step. So you want to make sure that all the dirt comes off right here so that you're not tracking it into the rest of your trailer or your RV.

This also has an adhesive at the bottom, which creates a strong and sturdy step, especially since this is going to be your first step. You want to make sure it doesn't slip off. Even if you have mud, dirt or water on it, With that extra hook and loop patch on the bottom, this is going to secure it. This is also used for people that have dogs or their furry friends with them on their trip. Since it creates a comfortable surface that maybe those little paws or those little claws, when they don't like the harsh metal surface of your landing, this gives them a nice and softer surface.

So the polypropylene construction is going to make it where it is UV as well as mold and mildew resistant. So if you do have it out in the sun, you're going to be sure that it's not going to fade too quickly or deteriorate too quickly. And as for it being mold and mildew resistant, if you do have your trailer or your RV in storage for an extended period of time, you want to make sure you have that resistance. So it stays fresh for when you're ready to go back on the road. Now I do like how it feels, especially compared to the rough texture of your traditional welcome mat.

This has a nice carpet texture, not too much like a carpet where it's just going to get dirty too quickly, but it still is soft enough for my bare hand or my bare feet. If I want to walk on this carpet, I don't have to worry about it being too gritty to be comfortable. I also do like how they sewed the edges of the carpet or of the rug. So you can see here how they use a double folded hem where it's folded underneath and that's going to prevent fraying. So even if you pick at it, you can see that the thread and the material is not coming apart.

Meaning that it's going to last a little bit longer. Now let's talk about dimensions. So depending on your landing, you want to make sure you have the right rug. So what I have here is 23 inches and a half wide, as well as 10 inches long. So you do have different options. This also comes in the 23 and a half by eight, as well as by six, as well as different colors. This is going to be the light brown or the pecan, but you could also have different options. You can either have gray or granite or dark brown or Sierra brown. Kind of like what I have here. You can check out all the different color options here at etrailer.com. Underneath the rug you can see how you have this rubber surface. So on its own, it's actually going to hold onto the surface of your floor. If you just want to place it on your hard floor or on top of your carpet, that's perfectly fine. But on the edge, you see how we have the hook and loop strips. You are going to need to be careful with those hook and loop strips though because they can come off. If you apply too much force. So try to maintain the edges as much as you can so that this rug can live longer. Now over a period of time, this will get dirty as it should, since it is going to be doing its job of getting that dirt, that mud, that sand off of your carpets or your interior of your RV. And that's perfectly fine because all you need to do is just to bring it outside, use soap and water, hose it off and let it air dry out in the sun. And then it's back to business. So my final thoughts about the Presto fit rug for landings is that you don't need to use it just for landings. It works great. Yes, as the first step into your RV and your motor home. But if you also want to use it in front of, let's say your shower, like what we did here, or as a front rug or at the foot of your bed, that's perfectly fine. I do like how versatile that hook and loop strap is on the end. Yes, the edges do come off, but it's also sewn into the rugs. It's not going to come off completely and you can still use it as a strong, stable and heavy duty but also soft surface inside your RV, wherever you want to put it..
