Hello Yorvelitt, thanks for reaching out. Typically, backup cameras like the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless Backup Camera System # ASA37YR would be wired to the marker light circuit. So the monitor and camera would only be on when the truck is on. You can connect the camera to a constant 12v power source if you wish, but we typically don't recommend it. It's easier to turn on and off, it's an easier installation and it prevents the camera from continuously pulling power from the battery.
