  • Roof Rack and Board Carrier Recommendation for 2016 Toyota Prius V with Glass Roof
For your 2016 Toyota Prius V you will need to install a roof rack to carry the boards you mentioned. Unfortunately only Yakima makes roof racks for your vehicle and they aren't exactly super cheap. So for that you would want the Yakima CoreBar part numbers # Y00425, # Y28TR, # Y06117, # Y06174. Which with that you'd be able to use the LockRack kpart # LR59FR that you referenced. This will attach to the crossbar by the top channel.

  • Compatibility of 3 Bike Rack on 2015 Toyota Prius
The Reese Q-Slot Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack is a fit for your 2015 Prius but has been discontinued. If you already have the rack it will work very well for you. I recommend using the included pin and clip for a secure fit in the hitch and then using a cable lock like # e98891 to secure your bikes to the rack. The 2 inch receiver only Reese Q-Slot Platform-Style 2 Bike and 4 Bike Rack PS63138 (also discontinued) was a 2 or 4 bike carrier, but would NOT work on your 2015 Toyota Prius...

  • Recommended Roof Rack for a 2022 Toyota C-HR w/out Roof Rails
Yes, it is possible. To add a roof rack to your 2022 Toyota C-HR, without rails that does not overhang, I recommend the roof rack by Yakima which includes the following parts: Yakima BaseLine FX Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 item # Y89UV BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers - Qty 2 item # Y06117 BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers - Qty 2 item # Y06176 I have attached a couple of pictures below that will give...

  • Yakima Roof Rack Components that Fit 2010 Toyota Prius
The Yakima SST towers are really old at this point and there's nothing we can recommend that would allow the reuse of them. If you have a set of round Yakima crossbars though you would be able to reuse them on your 2010 Toyota Prius. The current recommended Yakima roof rack for your vehicle consists of part numbers # Y00409, # Y28TR, # Y03536, and # Y06117.

  • Does Yakima Roof Rack For 2013 Toyota Prius Require Professional Install
I would tell them they could do it and not to bother with spending money to go to a mechanic or the dealer. Do you have a measuring tape of some sort? If so, that's it regarding the needed tools to install the Yakima rack on your 2013 Toyota Prius. So no tools are needed, it's light as a feather, and all you have to do is some measuring to get it installed. I am 1000% confident this is something you can do on on your own in about 30 minutes without any assistance. The correct fit for the...

  • Roof Rack for 2012 Toyota Prius with Sun Roof
I checked with Yakima and their roof racks including the round bar setup # Y00409, # Y00146, # Y03536, and # Y06117 are a fit for your 2012 Toyota Prius and also work with the sun roof you have as well. You won't be able to (or want to) open the sunroof with the rack installed as it would interfere and cause quite a bit of noise. For a more aerodynamic setup we have the Jetsream rack # Y00426, # Y28TR, and # Y06117 which also would fit and work well.

  • Roof Rack Recommendation for 2013 Toyota Prius with Panoramic Roof
We do! I recommend going with the Yakima JetStream roof rack system because you get a nice aero-style roof rack that has adjustable feet to give you level crossbars. Here are the parts you'll need: 60" JetStream Crossbars - # Y00426 BaseLine Towers - # Y28TR BaseClip Fit Kit - # Y06117 Lock Core Kit - # Y07204 (optional) Attached is a video of this on a 2014 Toyota Prius V for you to check out. If you let me know what you plan on using the roof rack for I'll be more than happy to make...

  • Availability of Roof Rack for 2017 Toyota Prius V with Panoramic Roof
We do have a large selection of roof racks that are confirmed to fit the 2017 Toyota Prius V. They will be compatible with panoramic roof on this vehicle, however it is not recommended to operate the moonroof while the roof rack is installed. I recommend the Yakima CoreBar Roof Rack, which consists of parts # Y00421, # Y28TR, # Y06117 and # Y06174. This rack features 2 aero-style crossbars that will reduce wind noise and vibration. The system has a weight capacity of 220 pounds. I have...

  • Why is There a Crossbar Spread Difference Between Rhino-Rack, Thule, and Yakima Brands
The crossbar spread difference that you are seeing between different brands of roof rack systems has to do with the way that the racks are built. Each manufacturer tested their specific roof rack on a 2013 Toyota Prius and based the placement of the crossbars off of the data that they gathered. The specific spots are the best spots for weight capacity and performance. All manufacturers have great roof rack systems and I would have no hesitation recommending any of them. I do recommend...

  • Recommended Crossbars and Rooftop Tent for a 2015 Toyota Prius V
To mount a rooftop tent to your Prius you're going to need to install a set of crossbars first. I recommend going with the Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425 with the BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y28TR & the fit kit # Y06117 & # Y06174. These bars measure 50" long and has a dynamic (moving) weight capacity of 165 lbs, however when you're static these numbers are much higher as the weight will be over the axles. For a tent, I recommend going with the Thule Tepui Foothill Rooftop...

  • Yakima Jet Stream Roof Rack Recommendation for 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan with Naked Roof
Yakima recommends 60 inch Jetstream crossbars part # Y00426 for your 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan with a naked roof as well as part numbers # Y28TR, # Y06117, and # Y06150 to complete the rack. I was able to find some pictures from Yakima that shows these bars installed on a Tiguan like yours and found that they extended quite a bit past the feet of the rack. See attached picture. Based on that I can't see why the 50 inch bars part # Y00425 wouldn't work instead.

  • Yakima Aero Bar Roof Rack for 2019 Honda Clarity with Bare Roof
Yes, we do have a Yakima aero-style roof rack for your 2019 Honda Clarity that has a bare roof. Their JetStream rack system made of parts # Y00425, # Y28TR and # Y06117 will fit perfectly on your roof and give you a sleek black crossbar setup that can handle as much as 165-lbs of loaded cargo. The rack's wide 32-inch bar spacing means you'll have a nice broad support base for whatever you need to transport, whether it is a kayak on a carrier like # E98878 or a bike on a carrier such as...

  • Parts Needed to Install Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack on 2012 Toyota Prius
Pretty recently Yakima totally redesigned their round bar roof racks with new feet which means that all new fit kits had to be created and they phased out the old fit kits like you'd need since you have a Q-tower setup. So the best solution we have to allow you to install a roof rack with your current round bars # Y00409 will be with the part numbers # Y00146, # Y03536, and # Y06117.

  • Parts Needed to Install Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack on 2012 Toyota Prius C
Yakima phased out the Q-Tower style roof racks so while we can help you reuse the round crossbars you have we don't have a fit kit for the towers you have now to fit your 2012 Toyota Prius. Instead the part numbers you need are # Y28TR, # Y03536, and # Y06117 to use with your round bars # Y00409.

  • Parts Needed to Complete Yakima Roof Rack with Round Bars for 2015 Toyota Prius c
I have a solution for you, but the pads you're referring to were used on the Yakima Q towers, which are not a fit on your 2015 Prius c. Most of the pads for this have been discontinued. We still have the F- Pad # Y8810097 which will fit on the old and new model Q towers, but most of the other pads have been discontinued. We no longer have the E pad or the A pad that I think you would need. With that said, I recommend getting some new Yakima Towers and a fit kit that will work with the...

  • Best Roof Racks for a 2014 Toyota Prius Plug-In
Most Toyota Prius owner's are conscious of or concerned with miles per gallon so to minimize the impact to mileage they gravitate towards the more aerodynamic roof racks. With that in mind here are the parts needed for the most aerodynamic roof racks from the available manufacturers: Yakima JetStream bars # Y00426 BaseLine Towers # Y28TR BaseClip # Y06117 (you would need 2 sets of these) Inno Aero...

I have a solution for you, but unfortunately the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Thule and Yakima Tracks - 2 Heavy-Duty Crossbars - Black - 65" Long # Y01-140B-NT require tracks like the Yakima 42" Tracks for Roof Racks # Y01126. These types of tracks do require drilling. For a roof rack that completely avoids drilling and will fit your vehicle, I recommend the following parts: - Yakima CoreBar Crossbars - Steel - Black - 60" Long - Qty 2 # Y00422 - BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Naked...

Instead, I recommend installing a roof rack like the Yakima BaseLine roof rack which consists of two 58 inch crossbars, # Y00409, the BaseClips # Y06117, RoundBar Adapters # Y03536, and the BaseLine Towers, # Y28TR.
