Question:

I am looking for a roof rack for my 2010 VW Jetta. It currently does not have anything to attach a roof rack to. I will either have to go inside of the door frame OR use something like the seasucker monkey bars. Could you send me a few options of what you believe would work the best? At this time I plan on hauling a V Roof Rack llamarack for a surski and the surfski itself on my roof. I appreciate your help!

I have a great roof rack recommendation for your 2010 Volkswagen Jetta with the Yakima JetStream Crossbars, part # Y00426. They are aero-style crossbars, making them compatible with most accessories while cutting down on wind noise and resistance. They are 60" long and have a capacity of 165 pounds.

To mount these to your Jetta, you will need the BaseLine Towers, part # Y28TR, and the BaseClip Fit Kit, part # Y06117. I've linked to a video review of the towers and fit kit below.

The SeaSucker brand is decent but the Yakima JetStream kit will be able to lock to your roof and will look more natural than the SeaSucker brand.
