These heavy-duty aluminum crossbars are built to take on serious hauling. Each bar measures 71" long x 1-5/8" wide x 1-7/8" tall and supports up to 220 lbs, giving you the strength you need for contractor tools, kayaks, or other large gear. The square design works perfectly with Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty accessories, so you can mount rollers, load stops, or eyebolts securely in the top channels without worrying about flex or instability.
When your load shifts or vibrates during travel, it can scuff or slide on plain metal bars. These crossbars solve that with rubber strips fitted into the top channels. They cushion your gear, add grip, and cut down on unwanted movement while you’re driving. The strips also fill the channel openings to give a cleaner look and help reduce slippage even under wet or dusty conditions.
Once installed on your vehicle’s rain gutters, the included gutter-mount legs hold everything firmly in place. Each leg has a lockable cover plate that secures the rack to your roof so your setup stays right where you put it. The result is a strong, tamper-resistant connection that keeps your crossbars locked down for travel and when parked overnight.
These crossbars are ready for upgrades right out of the box. The top channels accept Rhino-Rack contractor-grade mounts for ladder rollers, load stops, and more—no drilling required. Worked as intended on top of my Ram Promaster and was super easy to set up.
When I bought this for my ram promaster not even the manufacturer could tell me how it rated. I was so new they had no comparisons. I’ve had it on my van for over a year. Traveling around the country through all kinds of weather. Rain, hail, snow, and sun in the desert.

Durable looking product and has an easy install. On the roof of my van for the past year and still looking good. Holding out for 5 stars because I'm eating to see how it holds up in the desert sun after a few more years. Rhino-Rack is very hard to get information from regarding their products but etrailer had all the answers and gave me confidence with buying the product.
Nice rack system, strong and durable. Used on a Ford e350 to mount solar panels. Only draw back, one of the L brackets that goes under the rain gutter was not bent square enough and this caused the bracket to slide off when tightened. I had to adjust this with a clamp and hammer, no issues since.
