Question:

I am interested in installing a Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning on a 2020 Ram Promaster 1500, high roof with a 136 wheel base. What roof rack do you recommend? I also want to install a couple roof fans. So the rack needs to be able to accommodate those. Thanks

I recommend using the Rhino Rack Roof Rack for 2020 Ram ProMaster 1500 that uses parts # RB1800B-2 and # RRRLTPFD, which will give you a nice and durable roof rack for your van. This rack can be used to mount the Rhino Rack Batwing Awning # RR33200 directly to the Vortex Aero crossbars # RB1800B-2 by using the top channels of the bars, so it's a great choice that gives you a high quality rack at a nice price point.

We don't have any fans that would mount to your crossbars but as long as you can fashion something with some U-bolts or other mounting hardware I don't see any issues and this rack will be able to handle the added weight. If you're trying to add a AC unit of some sort on the roof, then you'd need to measure the distance between the fixed mounting points on your roof to verify that they are wider than the AC unit that you're using.
