Toyota Prius

Since both the Inno roof rack and my Toyota Prius are made in Japan, it seemed a good fit. Also, he Inno rack was considerable less expensive than top brands!

Etrailer's customer service was excellent and the rack was delivered quickly and on the date promised. Such service is rather RARE these days, so greatly appreciated!!!

  • What Roof Rack do You Recommend for My 2013 Toyota Prius with a Naked Roof?
For your question, I am assuming you are looking for a roof rack setup on your 2013 Toyota Prius with a naked roof. For a great recommendation that will give you the highest weight capacity for your roof, I suggest the following parts: - Inno Square Crossbars - Steel - Black - 50" # INB127 - Inno Feet for Square Crossbars - Naked Roofs - Black # INSUT - Custom Fit Kit for Inno XS200, XS250, and INSU-K5 Roof Rack Feet # INK865 With this setup, you will get up to 140 pounds of maximum...

  • Parts Needed to Use Older Style Thule Square Bars on 2011 Toyota Prius
That is confusing and I apologize but the Evo Clamp fit kits like the # TH145001 can not be used with the Traverse feet. I do have a somewhat helpful solution though I think. The older Thule square bars are the same dimensions as the current Inno square bars so you could reuse your current bars with the feet # INSUT and fit kit part # INK865.

  • Crossbar Spacing Instructions For The Inno Aero Crossbars On A 2015 Toyota Prius
The Inno Aero Crossbars # INXB100-108 with the flush feet # INXS200, with the fit kit # INK865 will need to be mounted: -15-3/4" from the gap between the front and rear doors, for the rear, &, -11-3/4" from the gap between the front and rear doors, for the front. I have included a a diagram depicting these measurement for you to check out as well.

  • Recommended Roof Rack With Highest Weight Capacity For 2015 Toyota Prius
The Inno aero roof rack that you are referring to includes InnoAero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 51" Long and 54" Long # INXB130-138, Inno Through Feet # INXS250, and Custom Fit Kit # INK865. This system is indeed locking; it secures the roof rack to your vehicle's roof and also secures any track-mounted accessories to the crossbars. The track-mounted accessories simply slide into the integrated T-slot track on top of the crossbars. The weight capacity for this system is 140lbs, but...

  • Highest Capacity Roof Rack to Use With Rooftop Tent On 2010 Toyota Prius
The highest roof rack weight capacity we have for a 2010 Toyota Prius is 140 lbs, the Inno Aero Crossbar System part # INXB123-130, part # INXS250, and part # INK865 is what I recommend. This could then be used with the Yakima SkyRise HD Tent part # Y07436 or part # Y07437 which only weighs around 100 lbs and 115 lbs respectively. I am not aware of a roof racks for the 2010 Toyota Prius which can support 175 lbs, the roof simply won't be rated that high.

  • Mixing The Old With The New On My 2010 Toyota Prius With Thule And Inno Roof Rack Parts
I can definitely find a solution that will work for your 2010 Toyota Prius. Unfortunately, it will not be a Thule roof rack. The Thule foot pack and fit kit for your Volkswagen Jetta are not compatible with the new Thule products. Our best solution would be using the Thule square crossbars with an Inno roof rack. The Inno roof rack you need will consist of the following: Inno Feet for Square Crossbars - Naked Roofs - Black - Qty 4, part # INSUT and Custom Fit Kit for Inno XS200, XS250,...

  • 2013 Toyota Prius Cost-Effective Roof Rack Recommendation
Since Thule and Yakima roof racks are premium options with similar pricing I recommend going with the Inno roof rack for your 2013 Toyota Prius since pricing is a factor for you. Even though Inno is at a lower price point it still has great quality that I know you'll be happy with: 51" and 54" Aero Crossbars - # INXB130-138 Through Feet - # INXS250 Fit Kit - # INK865 48" Fairing - # INA262 The nice thing about the Inno crossbars is that you can definitely upgrade them so that they are...

  • How Can I Fit Thule Square Crossbars on My 2015 Toyota Prius Hatchback with a Bare Roof?
You are correct that Thule discontinued the Traverse Foot Pack 480. However, it is unclear from your question if you also meant that you had older square Thule crossbars. If you have older Thule square crossbars that do not have a channel opening in them, there is a solution for your 2015 Toyota Prius. That includes the following setup: - Inno Feet for Square Crossbars - Naked Roofs - Black # INSUT - Custom Fit Kit for Inno XS200, XS250, and INSU-K5 Roof Rack Feet # INK865 Since the...

  • Best Roof Racks for a 2014 Toyota Prius Plug-In
Most Toyota Prius owner's are conscious of or concerned with miles per gallon so to minimize the impact to mileage they gravitate towards the more aerodynamic roof racks. That is going to include aero bars. Any other style will have a larger negative impact on mileage. With that in mind here are the parts needed for the most aerodynamic roof racks from the available manufacturers: Yakima JetStream bars # Y00426 BaseLine Towers # Y28TR BaseClip # Y06117 (you would need 2 sets of these) Inno Aero...

  • Can I Safely Use a Roofnest Rooftop Tent on 2014 Toyota Prius with Inno Aero Crossbars
Thanks for reaching out and for your purchase of the Inno roof rack kit for your 2014 Toyota Prius: 39" and 42" Crossbars - # INXB100-108 Flush Feet - # INXS200 Fit Kit - # INK865 I reached out to Roofnest to clarify what they meant by those specs and my contact said that 30" measurement for them is from the front of the front crossbar to the back of the back crossbar. Since the Inno aero crossbars are 3-1/8" wide that extra spacing for them puts them right at that 30" spacing so this...

  • Recommended Roof Rack and Stand Up Paddleboard Carrier SUP for 2014 Toyota Prius V
I recommend starting with the Inno Roof Rack # INXB100-108, # INXS200, and # INK865 which is a custom fit for your 2014 Prius V and is a really nice aero bar option with top channel for other accessories. Then I recommend using the Rhino-Rack SUP and Surfboard Pads w/ Tie-Downs for Crossbars - Universal - 33-1/2" Long - Qty 2 # RRRWP05 because it comes with the protection you need for your rails and board. If you want a higher end carrier with security integrated for your paddle board,...

  • Recommended Roof Rack and Carrier for 16 Foot Canoe on 2010 Toyota Prius
In order to secure a canoe to your 2010 Toyota Prius, you will need to start with a roof rack system. For your Prius, I recommend the Inno Square Roof Rack System, which consists of # INB127 for the two 50 inch Square Crossbars, # INSUT for the Inno Feet, and # INK865 for the Custom Fit Kit. This is a durable, but economically priced system that will work well as attachment points for your canoe or other roof-mounted cargo. • Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendations for 78 lb Kayak on a 2013 Toyota Prius
I recommend picking up the Inno Aero roof rack because you'll get a quality rack without feeling the quality price point of a Thule or Yakima rack. The parts you'll need for your 2013 Toyota Prius are the following: 51" and 54" Aero Crossbars - # INXB130-138 Through Feet - # INXS250 Fit Kit - # INK865 If you don't already have a kayak carrier I recommend checking out the etrailer Carrier # e98878. • Can I Transfer the Malone # MPG216 From My Subaru Forester to My 2015 Toyota Prius?
I have a great roof rack solution for you. Unfortunately, since the Malone AirFlow2 # MPG216 is only designed to work with raised side rails, it will not work on the bare roof of your 2015 Toyota Prius. There are no feet or other components that Malone produces for this application. With that being said, we do carry great roof rack systems for your Prius. • Can Inno Roof Rack Crossbars for 2013 Toyota Prius Be Installed Further Apart
The Inno square bar roof rack for your 2013 Toyota Prius is an excellent choice for a simple, yet effective roof rack. Each roof rack manufacturer tests the different points of strength on the vehicle and they base the locations of the feet and fit kits off of where the vehicle is strongest. So while you can technically attach the crossbars wherever you want to, the fit kits are only designed for specific spots on the vehicle and if you move them you'll be dealing with unknown weight ratings. • Toyota Prius 2011 with Rightline Gear Sport 2 Rooftop Bag on Naked Roof
There are a couple of reasons why I don't think using this without a roof rack is the best way to go, but I'm not going to tell you that it's not possible. The difference between carrying objects on your naked roof compared to when mounted to a roof rack with cargo carrier, is that the roof racks are going to be mounted to the strongest points on the vehicle roof and distributing the load to the pillars/frame of the vehicle. When you just lay something on the roof, you run the risk of damaging...
