Specs:
Race Ramps Sport Ramps can be used to lift your lowered, short-nose sports car 7" off the ground for service or display. This allows you to perform routine maintenance such as changing your oil, drive belt, or transmission fluid. The ramps have a 16.7 degree angle of approach, which allows you to lift your vehicle without worrying about scraping its front end. It also eliminates the need for heavy jacks and cumbersome jackstands.
These ramps are made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. Each ramp supports 1,500 lbs - giving you a total weight capacity of 3,000 lbs for lifting a vehicle for service or display. The ramps are lightweight, weighing no more than 6 pounds per ramp, so you can transport and store them with ease.
The ramps are covered with a textured coating and are flat on one side. This keeps them from skidding when you drive up on them. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.
A built-in handle on each ramp makes maneuvering them easier than heavier steel or aluminum ramps. The ramps can also hang vertically to free up storage space in your trailer or garage.

John: Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com, and today we're going to take a look at our 40-inch Sport Ramps for servicing and displaying our vehicles by Race Ramps. The Sport Ramps have a dual purpose. We can use them, one, to service our vehicles, so we need to get under a vehicle, maybe an oil change or tinker with things under the hood, we can use them for that. We can also use them to display our vehicle. It is designed for smaller sports vehicles with up to eight inch wide tires. However, when you use these, we're more concerned about the weight capacity, which is 1,500 pounds per ramp.
So 3,000 pounds, when you use them together, you can use them for tires that are a little bigger than eight inches, like we have with our Wrangler here. We do recommend having someone there to spot you and make sure we load the vehicle correctly. Our ramps measure 10 inches wide by 40 inches long, and they have a 16.7 degree incline. Up here at the top, we have 10 inches of surface for our tires to rest on. And here at the top, we have 10 inches from here to here for where our tire is going to sit. This is seven inches from the ground to this platform.
But over here where our stop is it's 10-3/4 inches. This means we're going to have a nice, easy, safe way to load our vehicle and know where we need to stop. Our Sport Ramps come as a set of two for our front or rear tires. One thing I do recommend getting as well is a set of chucks. And it's just a great way to ensure that we're safe when we have our vehicle loaded on the ramps. Our ramps have a textured coat on them, so they're not going to scoot on the floor.
They also won't damage, scratch or leave any marks on our garage floor or even outside, which is a really nice feature I like about them. Also, since we have the solid foam construction, we don't have a big opening here at the bottom like our steel ramps you might find on the market. So they're really lightweight, but they're also completely solid. I can actually pick it up with my pinkie, it's that light, just six pounds per ramp. Our ramps are also very easy to clean. Since they do have that coating that protects them from just regular liquids that we find in our garage, we can just use some soapy water here and spray them down and just wipe them off to get them nice and ready for when we're going to display our vehicle at a show. When we're done using our ramps, can simply use the handle to get them up and out of the way.
And then just set them on top of each other for storage. With them sitting like this, got a total length of 48 inches. You can move them back and forth a little bit to accommodate different spaces you might have in your garage or your trailer where you'd store them. But they're not going to take up any more space than any other kind of ramps out there. These Sport Ramps do give us the option to use them for maintaining our car or taking them to a show if we clean them up and make them look nice. We do have other Race Ramps options though here at etrailer.com if you have a different application. For a demonstration video today, we do have a Jeep Wrangler and it sits higher up off the ground. But since we can use these Sport Ramps for sporty vehicles that sit lower to the ground, Race Ramps does give us a bit of a formula to use to make sure that our vehicle will fit on these without any clearance problems. We take a yard stick and put it under our front tire until it's wedged in there. And then we raise it up until it comes in contact with any rear fascia. Then we have to take a measuring tape and if it is 10-1/2 inches or greater here at the end of the yardstick, we know that we'll be able to use these ramps without any problems. However, if it's lower than that, we will need to look into some other Race Ramps options here at etrailer.com.All in all, I really like the Sport Ramps. They're nice and lightweight, plus the texture on them helps keep them from skidding on the floor, making marks on our garage, and it makes them very easy to clean. Since they're not steel, we don't have to worry about any rust or corrosion on them. We can store them and they're going to last a really long time. These are great for anybody, from our vehicle enthusiasts who are working on their vehicles almost daily to those who just change their oil every once in a while. I think you'll be really happy with them. And that's going to conclude our look at our Sport Ramps by Race Ramps. Thanks for watching.

I ordered the RR-40 Race Ramps from etrailer on March 9, 2020. I have a Toyota Prius that has a shield covering the oil plug and filter. The shield has to come down far enough to access the oil plug and filter. I have used a friend's Race Ramps to get the oil changes done and I thought that it was time for me to get my own set. The RR-40 Race Ramps are a great product. They are light and raise the car 7 inches making access to the Prius" oil plug and filter easy. I ordered the ramps from Etrailer because of the excellent price. There were no problems with the delivery. The ramps delivered were what I ordered and they were delivered early.
