These crossbars are built from hardened steel that feels solid under load. The elastomeric coating keeps rust at bay even after years of outdoor trips. With a 220-lb weight capacity, the rack handles everything from kayaks and canoes to cargo boxes and camping gear without flexing or rattling. It’s a setup you can trust when you’re fully packed for the road.
The square bar design gives you a simple, secure base for gear mounts that clamp around the bars. Whether you’re using kayak cradles, cargo boxes, or bike racks, the shape helps everything stay planted and aligned. It’s a straightforward system that works with the attachments most people already have, so you don’t need to change your setup to get going.
When you’re traveling or parked overnight, small details make a big difference. The lockable leg covers deter theft of the rack itself, adding peace of mind when your vehicle is left unattended. You get a sturdy mount plus built-in security where it matters most.
This system installs directly onto raised rails using custom feet designed for a snug grip. Once tightened down, the bars sit firm and level with no tools or hardware left exposed. It’s a practical design aimed at people who want to spend their time packing gear, not fiddling with parts.

Still a great rack system. I do remove the crossbars and clips unless I need to haul my kayaks because of noise from wind when they are on. Very easy to reattach when needed.

The Inno roof racks have been great. They still look new. We leave them on our SUV 100 of the time. They were a bit noisy at highway speed. At the suggestion of others, I wrapped them in paracord. That eliminated most of the noise.

The side rail set is great. During a storm, I drove under dangling power line from the pole to a house that I didnt see. The line got caught on my roof rack. The foot pack held as I drove along and snapped the wire. Amazed it didnt rip the whole rack off my car.

One year later, I still like my roof racks. However, I finally figured out that they cause wind noise inside the vehicle Toyota 2017 RAV4 at highway cruising speeds, even though the windows are closed. Therefore, I remove them on longer trips and install them only when needed.

Glad we could help! It's always nice to be able to use stuff you already have and these Inno feet are pretty popular with people that have older Thule square bars for that reason. What kind of kayak do you have? I did a little of that in my youth.
