Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a real quick look at this Reese replacement U-bolt kit. Now this is going to replace the U-bolts that attach the lift chain onto your spring bars for your Reese or Pro series weight distribution systems. Now these are three-eights of an inch in diameter and this kit is the direct replacement from Reese. And in this kit you're going to have the two U-bolts and then you're going to have the four three eights of an inch flat washers and then the four three eights of an inch lock nuts.
Now, as you no doubt know, the reason you're probably needing to replace this kit is typically when you remove one of these lock nuts you've ruined the lock effect that they have. So whether you've damaged a U-bolt itself or damaged possibly a washer or a nut, you are going to need to replace it. And so this is going to give you the solution that you are looking for and you're never gonna have to worry about these lock nuts backing off and causing more problems down the road. So again, this is the direct replacement from Reese so you can have the confidence that it's going to fit right in place with your system. And so if you are looking to replace the U-bolts that attach the lift chain onto the spring bars for your Reese or Pro series distribution systems, this is going to be exactly what you need.

Bought as spares after hearing the sad tale from a fellow camper who had his spring bar crash to the ground when a u-bolt broke. He had quite a time finding a replacement while on the road - not something the local hardware stores carry. This u-bolt will fit my eaz-lift brand bars - just in case. Can’t really justify a five -star rating for something that is going to sit in my tool box until needed but they seem to match the OEM parts.
Perfect fit for my weight distribution hitch sway bars. I was able to install these in just a couple of minutes with my socket set and a few drops of blue loctite.

Just what I needed. I have an EAZ Lift weight distribution bar that didn’t come with a chain or the u bolts to attach it. I had the chain and needed the u bolts. These fit perfectly and will do the job.
They were the perfect replacement for one of the bolts that broke on me. I now have a spare in case of emergencies.
Thought new trunion bars should have included the chains.
I recommend you have these around as you do a spare tire not a single RV dealership in my area had one
The product is fine. However, the instructions for the overall hitch does not indicate that these are interference fit / one time only nuts. If they are removed, then they have to be replaced.
