Is locktite needed on these threads when buying a new set of u bolts/washers/lock nuts?

Hello Chris, thanks for reaching out. Yeah you can use loctite on the Replacement U-Bolts for Reese or Pro-Series Weight Distribution Spring Bar Lift Chains # RP58032. It is not required, but there is really no reason why you couldn't if you want to. Might make it harder to remove and replace if you ever need to, but you could probably still break it loose if you absolutely had to. The u-bolts really should not have to come off.

Hey Chris, how did things go using the Loctite on your replacement U-bolts? Did it hold up well without making removal too tough later on? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.
