Keeping your axle tight to the leaf springs is key to stable towing. This kit includes (4) 3" U-bolts that clamp solidly around your 3" axle tubes so everything stays lined up and secure. It’s a dependable way to restore or upgrade your suspension setup without guesswork.
Each kit comes with (2) 4" wide x 6-1/8" long x 7/8" thick U-bolt plates that spread pressure evenly across the spring pack. That solid steel connection helps prevent shifting, twisting, or uneven wear, keeping your suspension steady mile after mile.
No need to hunt for separate pieces. The kit includes (8) 1/2"-20 flange nuts to match the U-bolts, giving you all the hardware needed to mount a single axle. For tandem-axle setups, just use two kits to complete the job.
The U-bolts measure 7" in total length, with 5" from the threads to the start of the bend and 1-7/8" of thread length. That sizing gives plenty of grip to tighten down firmly while leaving the right amount of threading for a secure, lasting connection.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement U-bolt axle mounting hardware kit. This is going to replace the U-bolts needed to install your three-inch axle on your RV or trailer and it includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're gonna get these two U-bolt plates, and let me go ahead and give you the measurements of those plates while we're here. So the overall length, we are sitting right at 6 1/8 inches long, and the overall width, we're sitting right at four inches. And these plates are 7/8 inch thick. So you're gonna get two of those plates.
And these U-bolts, you will receive four of them and they are of course three inches wide. And then you're going to receive eight 3/8 inch by 24 flange nuts. So again, this is going to fit your three-inch axle tube. And that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

These appear to be heavy duty and well made. I have not installed them yet due to waiting for additional parts.
