This male elbow connector has one threaded male 1/4 NPT fitting and one push-to-connect fitting for 1/4" air line tubing. Connector provides option for connecting to an air tank or other component with 1/4 NPT valve where space is constrained.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Firestone elbow connector. Now, you can either get this as just one fitting or you can get a set of 25 of them. So whichever quantity is going to work best for you, just take the appropriate part number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field on our website, that will take you to that quantity, and you can add that to your order. Now, this elbow connector is gonna be a simple replacement fitting for air suspension system that use a 1/4 of an inch air line tubing and a 1/4 of an inch NPT port.
One end has a male 1/4 of an inch NPT threads, and then the other end is going to be this push-to-connect fitting for a 1/4 of an inch tubing. The 90 degree shape is gonna be especially useful if there's not much room above or around the air spring, tank, or other component. Now, this is gonna be mainly for someone who's replacing a leaking, damaged, corroded, or broken fitting or for someone who needs to route the air line into a tighter space than a straight connector would allow. This can also save you from having to buy an entire replacement kit when only one fitting needs to be replaced. But the big thing to check before picking this up is the sizing, of course.
This fitting is specifically for 1/4 of an inch tubing, as I mentioned, and it has a 1/4 of an inch male NPT-threaded end. Some of our neighbors have run into problems because they've ordered the wrong thread size, so do be aware of that. Both measurements are worth confirming for the application. But installation's gonna be pretty straightforward. However, access can be tight depending on where the fitting is located.
Again, a few of our neighbors have mentioned that getting a wrench onto the fitting around an airbag can be difficult, and it's possible to damage the connector if too much force is used. Also, a clean, square cut on the air tubing is important because an uneven or angled cut can cause leaks at the push-to-connect side. So those are just a few things that I've heard back from our neighbors that I wanted you to be aware of. The construction material of the fitting may vary, so the exact appearance or material may not always match an older fitting.
