Features to know about

Keep Your Ride Level Under Load: Heavy Duty 150 PSI Compressor Handles the Work

When the weight hits the rear and things start to sag, the Firestone Air Command Heavy Duty Compressor with Tank keeps your setup level and steady. The compressor delivers up to 150 psi and runs at 13 amps with a 30% duty cycle, giving you dependable performance when hauling or towing. With 0–30 psi in about 14 seconds and 0–60 psi in 35 seconds, it reacts fast when you need to adjust.

Faster Adjustments Every Time: 1/2-Gallon Air Tank Stores Pressure for Quick Response

The included 0.5-gallon air tank means you don’t wait for the compressor to catch up. It measures 7-5/8" long, 6-1/2" tall, and 6" in diameter, with 1/4" NPT inflation ports. That extra air volume gives you faster inflation of your air springs and even powers accessories like motorcycle, golf cart, or trailer tires using the 25' air hose.

Simple In-Cab Control: Analog Single-Gauge Panel Lets You Dial It In

Fine-tuning pressure is easy with the single analog gauge and dash-mounted switch. The pneumatic control mounts neatly under the dashboard so you can level one pair of air springs equally without stepping outside. Just flip the switch to add or release air and watch the white-face gauge show your exact pressure.

Built for Frequent Use: Reliable, Oil-Free Design You Can Mount Anywhere

With no oil and no belts to maintain, this compressor is ready for regular use. It can be mounted in any position without affecting performance, so you can fit it where it makes sense for your setup. The pneumatic system adapts to changing load and parking conditions, keeping your suspension balanced and ride quality consistent.

Mounted to the frame of truck.Been operating for a year and works great.

by:

The compressor is a big plus for the air bag helper springs I installed. I love that I can tow my fifth wheel and adjust the air as needed. As soon as I park the trailer I can adjust the pressure to 5 lbs for a really smooth ride and then air them back up when I hook up to the trailer again.

by:

Absolutely love them! It took a minute to get acclimated to them after going without or a much lesser system. Now every time I hook up to a trailer they get adjusted. Live the on the fly ability to adjust according to the road and load conditions. I have and will continue to recommend these to all my friends that tow.

by:

Once I got the ecu code in, everything went smoothly. My frame was too wide for the component bracket. A couple threaded holes and I was back in business. Looks nice, works great.

by:

Works great! Routing air lines into the cab and finding a place to mount the controller was a bit challenging for my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, but the end result is very clean and useful. I should have installed this years ago when I originally put air springs onto this pickup truck. My primary use is to level the load and provide more support for my Lance camper. Adjusting the air spring pressure is much easier and quick now!

by:

This kit pairs perfectly with the Ride-Rite bags on my 2012 F350. Installation was pretty simple. I mounted the pump in the driver side rear seat storage area and wired it to one of my Upfitter switches. There was plenty of air line and pigtail wire. I was using a bicycle pump on a shrader valve and this beats the crap out of that. I tow a trailer with 960 pound tongue weight, 2 kayaks on the tonneau cover and a long bed full of gear and this levels it out perfectly. I use this with a weight distribution hitch and still have minimal sway.

by:

Seems to work well but after having it in the winter I would not recommend putting this on the frame rail as it tends to freeze up! I intend to take it off of the frame rail and install in the engine compartment!

by:

I pull my boat with 25lbs,my 5th wheel with 85lbs and driving around town 5lbs all at the press of a button. The system works perfectly.

by:

This is a must buy to go with the helper bags. Remote or phone makes it easy to control the truck. I love it. Truck handles like a dream with the bags and air.

by:

Great little air compressor for my 2014 Ram 2500. Nice fit under the bed. Made the truck ride better when towing my fifth wheel and when empty

by:

The installation was pretty easy and it worked just like it supposed to. The compressor pump up fast and the remote works good.

by:

Putting this in by yourself is a bear when lying on a creeper and a 2019 Chevy Dually doesn't have a lot of options for location. Read that as 1. But it is on and all wired up and working fine. Put airbags on a previous truck years ago without a compressor, I was a poor GI. This is SO much better. Just takes a little time, think it out and plot your path for cabling and hoses to avoid the exhaust.

by:

I gave this product one star because there wasn't a option of 0. One of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. #1. The ECM, or computer, whatever they want to call this thing that runs this system, It is just a monitor. When your air psi drops to low all it does is log a code and tell you you air system has a leak. I would think it would kick on and build the air psi up, nope, it just logs a code and shut down the system until you clear the codes. #2. You have to take off the pump stops above your axle to install the ridiculously stupid system. So I thought ok, there must be bump stops inside the air bags, and ordered it anyway. Well I was wrong. When you take the bump stops off over the axle and you come upon a huge bump as you can do traveling around the good ole USA, the air bag bottom out, so you have the full force of the huge bump you just hit coming down on you axle, not good. We hit a bump that snuck up on us in Florida over by Okeechobee Lake that was possibly the biggest bump I have ever encountered in all my travels, and I swear I though it has cracked my axle, no bump stops to protect it. As soon as I got home I took this lousy system off my truck and put something better on, a much better system.

by:

Great compressor with the option of using the included remote or my cellphone. The two presets allow for quickly switching between normal empty bed setting and the setting for when the 5th wheel is connected.

by:

The compressor gets extremely hot if it runs for even a short while getting the bags up to around 80 pounds. The ECM module also does not retain the last setting if you place the system on switched power. I choose switched power due to how hot the compressor got and am not willing to risk it running nonstop if there was a leak in the system. When I initially installed it there was a small leak and the compressor ran nonstop. There is supposedly a timeout but it ran nonstop until I disconnected it from the battery. I have previously owned an extreme duty system which worked incredibly well.

by:

The product seems to be great, I only have one problem, the 25' black air hose with fill connectors on both ends does not have any directions on how to connect to air pump its one lenght with no way to connect it directly to pump, any ideas or direction would be helpful, thank you Richard.

The Firestone Air Command kit was well described and the installation instructions were easily understood. the installation went smoothly and the system works perfectly. I am 100% satisfied !!

by:

I recently purchased this compressor kit along with the AirLift Loadlifter 7500 XL air springs for my 2015 Silverado 3500. Installation for both is pretty straight forward but it did take me longer than I expected (about 8 hours total). They definitely help keep the ride height at factory designed levels & the auto leveling feature with the air compressor is excellent. I definitely recommend the wireless remote for the do-it-yourselfers as install doesn't require piercing the firewall to run wires for a switch. The wireless remote gives a digital easy to read screen that you can adjust while driving even. Overall I give this product a 5 star rating.

  • How Long Will the Air Compressor Run on the Firestone Air Command I Part # F2266
Generally speaking, the duty cycle of an air compressor is going to be dependent on the range of the air pressure regulator or pressure switch installed on the tank. For example, the Firestone Air Command I part # F2266 comes with a regulator/switch that operates from 90-120 psi. This means that if the air pressure in the tank is below 90 psi then the compressor will kick on until the pressure in the tank reaches 120 psi. There are several different ranges of regulators/switches so if...

  • Which Air Lift Kit Fits 2023 Toyota Sequoia Where Does Air Line Usually Run
Hey Binh, the Air Lift kit part # AL95QF that you referenced does fit the rear suspension of your 2023 Toyota Sequoia and normally people would run the air hose to the bottom of the rear bumper fascia after drilling a small hole through it. This does not come with any type of air tank but we do have compressor kits that include them like the Firestone part # F2266 but there isn't a tank setup that can be ran without a compressor. What would you use the air tank for?

Hey Mitch. The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F4135 are exactly what you need for the rear of your 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser. These are going to install inside your rear coil springs and are compatible with both the 2WD and 4WD models. The Air Command I Xtreme Duty Compressor with Analog Gauge, Air Tank, and 25' Hose - Single Path # F2543 and the Firestone Air Command I - Analog - Xtra-Duty Compressor w/Air Tank and 25' Hose - 150 psi # F2266 are very similar systems from the same manufacturer. The difference is in the speed of the compressor, size of air tank, tire inflation fitting with gauge and bag that come with the larger kit. The compressor is twice as fast at getting to the 150 psi and the reservoir tank is...

  • Can the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System be Used with an Air Tank
I do have a system for you that is compatible with an air tank but the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System part # AL25980 is not. I spoke to my contact at Air Lift and they informed me that the pressure at the manfolid, how the system is calibrated, and the capacity of the air compressor would all cause an issue if used with an air tank. Instead, you will want to look into the Air Command II Compressor System part # F2592 which is currently the only wireless system we offer that comes...

  • How Does Black Extension Hose Connect to Firestone Air Command Compressor System
The Firestone Air Command # F2047 is a system that you would keep separated from your air bag kit and then you would use that black extension hose to manually inflate your air bag kit. If you're wanting a compressor system that will integrate into your air bag kit then you're needing either the Firestone Air Command I # F2266 or the Air Command II # F2168 which comes with the extra pieces needed to allow you to manually monitor and control your air bags plus it comes with a port that...

  • How To Reduce Suspension Sag of 2020 Ford F-450 When Towing Fifth Wheel
There isn't a way to raise the mudflaps but if you are experiencing significant sag while towing with your 2020 F-450 suspension enhancement would be your best option to reduce the sag and prevent the flaps from dragging. Which for that we have the # F2708 that would allow you to get rid of the suspension sag. For a compressor kit then the heavy duty part # F2266 will work great to make inflating the bags and maintaining them easier. The compressor will inflate faster than standard compressors...

  • Adding Air Compressor for Air Bags and to Inflate Tires on 2010 Toyota Sequoia w/Air Lift Air Bags
The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980 doesn't have the necessary oomph (to use a technical term) or components to handle inflating vehicle tires but there are other systems that are rated for this. Basically you will be looking at compressor systems that also have an air tank and that come with an inflation hose (so you wouldn't have to add an extension). Below is a list of options that you can use for your application: # F2168 # F2549 # F2266 # F2239 # F2047 # F2543 #F49VV
