Replacement Elbow Fitting for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Part # F2525 2013 Ford F-150

Updated 07/09/2018 | Published 07/05/2018

Question:

I have a set of 2525 air springs on my 2013 Ford F150. I continue to have a leak in one of the elbow fittings, air comes out right at the seam on the push connection. I have tried recutting and reing the air tubing but the leak shows up int the same spot, so I believe that the elbow fitting itself has the leak. I would like to replace this elbow fitting with a new one, part# 3031. Can I purchase just this one part? How much?

Yes, the replacement elbow fitting you need for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2525 on your 2013 Ford F-150 is the Firestone Elbow Connector part # F3031-1. Please keep in mind that it is very rare for the fitting itself to leak.

The leak you are referring to is generally caused by an incorrectly cut airline. The best way to cut them for a sure seal everytime is with a tubing cutter like part # AL10530 which as silly as it may sound is really a must for cutting airlines. Once you cut the airline using the proper tool you will then want to insert it into the fitting while pushing all the way down and then pulling back up to lock it in place.
