Firestone Elbow Connector for 1/2 Tubing, 1/4 NPT - Male F3289-1 Sir. Is this connector accept the 1/ 4 tube by only pushing it inside?

The Firestone Elbow Connector, # F3289-1, is designed to accept Firestone 1/2 inch Air Line Tubing. The connection is made by making a square smooth cut on the tubing and pushing it into the connector. If the connection needs to be taken apart, this can be accomplished by holding in on the collar at the end of the push fitting and pulling out on the hose.
To make the the square smooth cut a tubing cutter is recommended, part # AL10530, It will help make the connection leak proof.
If you need an elbow for 1/4 inch air line like the Firestone 1/4 inch Air Line Tubing, part # F9416, you would need to order part # F3031-1. This elbow also installs in 1/4 NPT (National Pipe Thread) fittings.
