Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Fastway replacement outer link plate. This is going to replace the outer link plate for your Fastway e2 weight distribution system. This is a direct replacement from Fastway, so you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original. All the other components are still going to work. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility or anything like that.
This will allow you to attach your sway-control L-bracket to your trailer frame. This will position on the outside of your trailer frame, and then connect to the inside link plate. If you're needing that L-bracket, or inside link plate, we have those available as well, here at etrailer.com. You can find them using the part numbers that you see on the screen there, as well as that replacement hardware set, if you needed to replace any of your hardware. But if your original components are still functioning, you don't need to worry about that.
This is going to be compatible with those. It's gonna fit right in place, and do exactly what you need it to, and so that you can get your weight distribution system properly set up, and attached to your trailer frame again. I am so thankful for etrailer and Madison for giving me personal, hands on help. We had to have a trailer part that etrailer had in stock and shipped to me. We were 10 hours from home. UPS brought the part but was unable to get it to me; time was running out before we had to leave our COE. She convinced UPS to allow us to meet the driver. UPS stayed on the phone with us until we met the driver.

Long story short, I screwed up and damaged the WDH that came with our trailer. Got this and the accompanying L bracket, they shipped quick and are an exact match for the old ones. Trailer in good as new.
I ordered a pair of these when I received them they were literally stuck together, the bolts on the brackets were stuck in the holes of each bracket
We had to buy one of these after I turned too sharply onto a highway with a high curb and bent one of the original L-brackets on our hitch assembly which in turn deformed the outer link plate. This one was actually a slightly improved replacement, and has worked perfectly on numerous trips since I installed it.

A year and about 6 camping trips later, this replacement outer link plate is holding up nicely with no signs of rust despite constant weather exposure.
Yes it works and is fine, same as OEM that came with the hitch. Why only 3 stars, same reason I had to replace the original, one stud broke off. When a stud broke off on the other side I replaced the bracket with one that has replaceable studs (Bolts). Now all I have to carry is 4 spare sets of nuts and bolts. You will have to search the web for it. Hint, not from Fastway e2.

Great, After 15,000 miles holding up better than the original did, no problems.
The correct product arrived on time and in perfect condition.
I don't like the E2 hitches (not surprising since I'm replacing parts). This got 3 stars just because of how quick and easy it was from etrailer. Great service.

I havent used the product since last year. Hope it will work. The wear was almost unnoticeable after the first 5K of use.

Sorry about that, David. I can honestly say that is the first time I have ever seen that happen. It looks like we got those ones returned and replacements shipped out to you. Did you receive those in better not stuck together condition?
