Question:
Question about the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway control. I have been using this hitch for some time now and there is one thing that I dont understand. The holes on the adjustable L brackets are a bit smaller than the studs they attach to. The end result is that they will move forwards and back as the spring bars slid on them. I have tried torquing them as tight as I can but this doesnt stop the movement. Is this normal?

The Replacement Outer Link Plate for Fastway e2 Sway-Control Bracket # FA93-02-5350 should fit with the Replacement Sway-Control L-Bracket for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems - 6,000 to 12,000 lbs # FA93-02-5150 and is designed to allow a little movement with the bolts being so close together. As long as you have torqued them to spec, movement front to back that is minimal is part of the design but major movement is not.
There are other systems with a more rigid L-bracket like the Replacement Frame Brackets for Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # C17508 where the bolts are spaced farther apart to add stability to that bracket.
