Video Transcript for Review of Ventline RV Vents and Fans - Range Hood Exterior Wall Vent - VE48VV

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Ventline exterior wall vent for your RV range hoods, with a nice one inch collar and a beautiful colonial white finish. So, folks, as you know, exterior wall vents like this just help shed water out and away from the side of your RV, camper, whatnot. And in this case, this is the RV's range hood exhaust outlet. You have a one inch collar here, it's 10 1/2 inches by 3 3/4.

So, that's what your rough opening needs to be, at least, for this to fit. And then you need to have space on the outside of that for mounting this with the sealant and screws. Now that sealant and screws are sold separately, you can pick them up here, or locally. It's totally up to you. Inside, you've got the built-in flapper.

Let me see if I can get a better view of that here for you. (plastic clacking) And then you've got these tabs on both sides that you can simply pull over. And that's actually going to latch or lock this vent from coming open. So, maybe you're winterizing, you don't want critters to getting there, or maybe you're just going down the road. You don't want the flap up.

You have that option of locking it with those latches. It's a simple install. Like I said, the seal and screws are sold separately. This again, is the colonial white version. Well, folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look together.

Again, I'm Steven. Thanks so much for your time. Thanks for watching. And as always, if you want to give us some feedback, maybe some photos of it in use, we really would appreciate that. Have a good day.
