This is the exact replacement part I needed for my 1999 Dutchman 260 camper. Everything fit the Ventline range hood perfectly. As obscure of a part that this is, I was amazed to find it at all.. let alone from a trusted online retailer like etrailer.com. The product, checkout and shipping were spot on.

The part doesn't fit, it's to short, and the lady I spoke with says its the only flapper for ventline they have and says it not expensive enough to return . So now i have a new flapper that doesnt fit, and still no flapper to replace the missing one it's for a 2014 keystone hide out.. don't ever buy a keystone, one of their selling points is the awsome warranty, then when you try to get something fixed under warranty, they won't do it.

You mentioned that it is too small. I know that the damper is meant to be used with Ventline P, B, and T series range hoods that measure 9.44 inches long by 4.5 inches wide. What model of Ventline range hood do you have?

This damper has an overall length of 10-1/4", and a width of 4-3/8". As far as trimming is concerned, it is not recommended or advised to modify this part, as it isn't designed to and may not work as intended.

Normally there is some way to keep the damper stationary so I would look for any places where a tab has been broken or something like that so you can repair it and keep the damper stationary during travel.
