The OEM Converter I am replacing is 8 years old and has 1 set of Output 12V Terminals. The Progressive Unit Features are impressive with 2 sets of 12V Terminals, which will improve my connection with the Solar Contoller that was added to my trailer because the wire run was spliced in to the main output cables instead of being directly connected. The Heatsink to help cool the Progressive Converter is a better design, along with the larger housing and cooling fan design. And the features of Battery Type Charge Selection will allow me to upgrade my current Wet Cell Batteries to Lithium in the future.

Upgrade from original 9100 which can't charge a Lithium battery. Upgrade would have been straight forward but needed to upgrade wiring to 6g and move the location closer to the battery box so it took a little while. It's basically unplug old and plug in new. Installed into 2023 Scamp 13' built when they were changing over. I just missed out when mine was built. Only wiring is charger to battery other original wiring does need any upgrade.

Unit was about 1/4 inch too tall to fit in the original spot.Had to modify my electrical panel to make it fit.
My contact Mr William was exceptional. I contacted him many times and he responded very quickly or someone else did in his place. The main reason I went with etrailer was because they seemed to have a great product, and because there was a lot of good reviews of etrailer's customer service. Customer service and support was exceptional. I contacted them a few times for technical support which was very professional. I have installed the product and it is working great so far. I will update you in the future. Every company needs to be like THIS!!! Thanks.

One year ago I bought this charger/converter and still have no regrets. It has worked reliably with no issues including straight through the winter where the temperature dipped below zero a couple of times.
It actually puts out the claimed 30amps as measured by my accurate clamp meter and also verified by the Bluetooth battery itself.
Highly recommend!
