Compact AC-powered winch for controlled indoor pulling. Ideal for positioning vehicles, boats, or heavy equipment in shops, garages, or docks, providing consistent, steady power without requiring a vehicle-mounted system.
Moving non-running vehicles, boats, or shop equipment by hand gets tricky, especially when your load needs to track into position slowly. Rated for a 1,500 lbs working load, this AC-powered winch gives you controlled pulling force for positioning heavy rolling loads in garages, shops, or docks. Your load moves with managed force instead of relying on push power alone.
Stationary pulling jobs don't always call for a vehicle-mounted power setup. 120V AC operation plugs into a standard household outlet, giving your work area a direct power source for indoor pulling tasks. The winch stays useful in shops, garages, and docks where AC power is already part of the setup.
Load alignment is easier to manage when you aren't stuck right next to the winch. The handheld pendant controller has a 12' controller cord, letting you watch your load path while operating from a distance. You can guide movement and make small corrections while the load comes into position.
Pulling jobs often start with your vehicle, boat, or equipment sitting away from the mounting point. The 42' wire rope gives the winch enough line to reach staged loads before the pull begins. Setup starts with the load where it sits, then the winch draws it toward the work area under controlled movement.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're looking together at our Bulldog Winch. This is an electric winch with remote and it's powered by 120 volts of AC current. So what does that mean Well, basically it's a standard household plug, if you will. So I've got it plugged into an extension cord so we can kind of take a look at it together today.
Now again, this is an AC electric operation and it is designed for control pulling maybe of non rolling vehicles or non-running vehicles rather, boats, shop equipment around your garage or shop, those kind of things. And it's got a nice handheld controller giving you safe distance operation. The controller cord length here is an impressive 12 feet. It's all wound up right here mixed into the the plug outlet. The plug cord power length is 8-1/4 feet long.
Now I can go ahead and make this go up or down. (winch buzzing) just that easy. And then of course you've got an emergency shutoff button to keep it off whenever you're not using it the way you don't accidentally move something. And then of course your reset button on the side. As you can see, you've got your nuts, bolts, hardware there for mounting everything and you've got that bolt pattern on the bottom as well.
I'm gonna go ahead and unplug this so we can go ahead and get this spun around here on the turntable so you can get a better look at the back. And this has a working load limit of 1500 pounds, so pretty impressive. Believe it or not, something like that should be able to pull some smaller vehicles, boat trailers and those kind of things, especially with them being on wheels. The gear ratio is 262:1 and the wire rope length inside of here that comes installed already is 42 feet long. You do get a nice hook here with the spring loaded clip.
When I took him outta the box, all I had to do was put this hook in place and put the safety pin through there and then you would just hold that cotter pin over to lock it in place. And then of course you got your little baggy of hardware for mounting it. So this will give you steady pulling speed, giving you precise load positioning. And it's pretty compact so it should be pretty portable whether you're gonna mount it in a permanent fixed position or if you wanna mount it on some kind of portable mounting surface or something like that as well. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look at this Bulldog Electric Winch. I'm Steven with etrailer.
