By attaching these mirrors to your factory side-view mirrors, you'll be able to see past the end of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass other motorists, and park. The housing of each slide-on mirror is constructed of durable ABS plastic, as are the included components.

These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

Today we'll be reviewing part number LVT-1000. This is the Longview Custom Towing Mirror with the slip-on design for the driver and passenger side of your vehicle. These are going to be a custom fit so to see if these are going to fit your particular year, make, and model you can refer to the vehicle list at the bottom of the product page. The towing mirrors are going to slip over your factory side view mirrors to extend your line of sight. It's going to give you a better view of the road and your trailer, and it's going to let you safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park. It's going to feature first-surface chrome plating on the mirror face that's going to minimize distortion.
It's also going to help to reduce glare. The mirror faces are manually adjustable simply by pressing on the corners. That way it's going to let you customize your view and get the angle that you need. It's got a really nice aerodynamic shape to it so it's going to help prevent vibration and wind noise. The custom design's going to provide a perfect, secure fit for your vehicle. The add-on mirrors will not obstruct the factory mirrors, and they will not interfere with adjustments that need to be made to the factory mirrors.
It's a really quick, tool-free installation. They're going to come with these nice little foam pads that have adhesive backing on it. You peel that backing off, you're going to stick that on the inside here, and that's going to protect your factory mirror from any scratches or abrasions that the slip-on mirrors may have on the factory mirrors. That's just there for a level of protection and it's going to protect the finish on your factory mirror. All you have to do is slide the towing mirror over your factory mirror, take one of the hooks and hook it around the inside edge of your factory mirror. That's going to come back through this slot here, and then all you'll have to do is tighten up the hand knob or the thumb knob on the back.
This portion's going to hook to the lip on the factory mirror, bring it back through the slot, and then you're going to secure it by installing this right here. As you tighten that down it's going to bring the hook in, grabbing onto the ledge of the factory mirror, and it's going to keep the slip-on mirror nice and tight and in place for that nice, secure fit that we're looking for. The housing is made from a durable ABS plastic. It's going to include the driver and passenger side mirrors. If we take a look at one of the mirrors they're going to be identical. Take a look at the mirror face, that's going to give us a measurement of about four and a half inches by five and half inches, and then the overall length of our mirror, measuring from end to end, is going to give us a measurement of about fifteen and a half inches.

They Vibrate where you can’t see out of them sometimes especially going down highways

Using first time tomorrow
I had a little trouble getting them on as it was hard getting the nut started on the hook the hook could be a little longer. They seem very stable and didn't shake while driving.
Easy to install and work well. Be careful not to overtighten as one of the clips snapped when installing.
Owned these for a year and they work great. I have painted mirrors and no scratches.
I have just had them on the truck a couple days but love them so far. Easy on and off and definitely gave me better vision behind me! Great price for what they do!!

Arrived very quickly, took less then 5 minutes to install on my 2014 Silverado. Very good quality. Seem to be very secure on the OME mirrors, since I’ve not used them to pull my 27’ camper can’t say if they will work. But, see absolutely no reason they won’t give me the side views I need when pulling it.

I've been using another brand of rubber band style mirrors for some time, they never really did the job for me. These new mirrors have set me free. I can now see what's happening behind me at all times. Once you have them adjusted, they stay that way!
